Iru Mugan (2016)
'Iru Mugan' is a film which I have watched a several times on television. Back in days I used to watch films on TV and sometimes the same film multiple times as they were aired. "Iru Mugan" is one of those films where the action, the performances, and the twists could hold my interest even after multiple viewings.
It is a tamil action film including fiction and thriller. Vikram is the main male character and he plays dual roles as a good guy and a villain. The story is about a spy who was assigned to catch a criminal. It is full of chasing scenes, fighting scenes and high tech gadgets.
Sometimes the plot can feel a bit confusing. Also the film has some scenes feel slow. Nevertheless, the music composed by Harris Jayaraj adds energy to the film.
"Iru Mugan" is an entertaining film with strong performance from Vikram. If you like spy thriller movies with a bit of futuristic tech it would probably match you even though it is not perfect.
