Egg Rice

For a change, here I am gonna share a cooing experience I had recently. I'm still not much into cooking and now it has been a problem to my mother sometimes. When she scolds me for anything else, unrelatedly she blames me that I can't cook and I'm not trying to learn.

Whenever I make something she gives me her support to the fullest and she is being the happiest. She always says it's good even if it's not good for me either.

This post is also about a recent try. I wanted to make fried rice as it's my favourite. But still I have an issue how it turns out to be more different than how it turns out in videos and how to get that exact taste at home.

Funnily, I'm only thinking and still haven't tried once. I thougt to make egg rice. I saw the receipe randomly and after seeing the ingredients I thought to make it at home as those are usually there in a kitchen.

Ingredients:

3 tbl spoons of oil
Cooked rice
Curry leaves, sliced onion and garlic
3-4 eggs
1 tbl spoon of Margarine
2 tbl spoons of soya sauce
1 tbl spoon of Tomato sauce
Grated Carrot, Leaks, Cabbage
Salt as required
1 tea spoon of Pepper powder

How to make:

At first put oil in to the frying pan. Let it cook for a while and add the curryleaves, onion and garlic together. Then add carrot, cabbage and margarine to the frying pan. Add some salt too. Just cook it for 2 mins without letting it for so long. After that add the eggs in a low heat. Don't let the wetness of the eggs go away before adding the cooked rice. The rice should not be hot. Mix it in high heat for like 3 mins. Then add soya sauce, tomato sauce and 1/2 tea spoon of salt into it. Mix it well and let it cook for another 6 mins. Add some pepper powder and the sliced leaks at last.

I am pretty satisfied with the outcome in my first attempt. I didn't add tomato sauce because of unavailability, but I added some sausages to the egg rice. I added more soya sauce by my mistake and the rice became wet. I made egg rice again while not doing some of my previous mistakes.
