A Day Spent Out
We just wanted to hangout after the exam. So we found a reason to go for. We went Colombo today and it was for a career guidance programme in Colombo University. I have different friends' groups and there are two people who remained as close till now.
We made this a reason to go somewhere together after a long time which was the soul purpose of the day, today.
It was held nearly more than 4 hours. It was for and about degree programmes to choose and follow up after passing the exams and was mainly on, in their terms, non professional degrees. After an exhausting few hours we stepped out of the university.
During the programme I got to know about some interesting things which I thought of sharing here. One professor told in his speech that there are products they have exposed to the market. After a big process and researches they have made such products.
He mentioned in his speech that those products' base was cultural medicines of Sinhalese. It was already there and they have developed it and commercialized. 'Satiny' hair oil is one of them. Also the 'Ortho shield' named medicine also there for the pain in joints.
After all, we headed to OGF mall and had our lunch there. It is a somewhere we can get done several things in one place. We spent a plenty of time there and headed back home.
