"My Steemundo" Contest: 👧🧒Asi Celebramos El Dia De Los Niñ @ s. ❤️ Nomination from @sampu 👧🧒 Children's day celebrated in Prothsahan

Each year we celebrate Children's day with 500 kids in Prothsahan.

There are few schools run by various Non Government Organization in Kolkata for Street childrens. Although the street childrens get basic education in these schools, they do not get any opportunity to participate in fest or other activities. This is due to inadequate infrastructure, manpower and financial support.

Prothsahan is a annual competition for these underprivileged kids. This competition is conducted by a non government organization naned Educare. I participate in Prothsahan as a volunteer since the year 2012.

Prothsahan is organized in Don Bosco School, Park Circus every year. The kids from more than 10 schools join the competition. There were different competitions like Sit and draw, Quiz, Group dance, Running, Face Painting etc.

We serve packed breakfast, packed lunch and snacks to the participants. Winners are awarded with shield and certificate.

The kids become very happy at the end of the day. We also re-lived our childhood.
