My work life and steemit
I am very happy to participate in this week challenge. I will love to tell you all about my job and why I love my job.
By English dictionary, job is defined as an economic role for which a person is paid. It is what we do to earn a living. I am a teacher by occupation. I teach mathematics offline and online. Teaching and impacting lives are part of my hobbies. I caught the wind of this career choice while I was still very tender. My Dad was my first mathematics teacher. He taught me mathematics right from when I was in basic one. Due to the way my Dad taught me I developed interest in mathematics and it became the best subject throughout my schooldays. Due to the love I have for the subject I went ahead to study it in the higher institution.
I came to realize very early in life that many youngsters dread mathematics as a subject and they don’t do well in the subject and one of the sole reasons for such dread is because of the Teachers who teach mathematics. Mathematics teachers are very strict, firm and sometimes wicked that is why many students dread the course and in the long run eventually fail the subject.
Considering these facts above, I decided to study mathematics and make an impact in youngsters lives. I made conscious efforts to work on myself and learn new skills to present each topic in a student-friendly manner that will make the students enjoy the subject.
Do you like your job?
Oh yeah! I love my job and I enjoy it. I derive joy in teaching mathematics to youngsters. I teach first year students and third year students in the higher institution. To get the attention of the students, I first make them my very goods friends and make them comfortable around. With this antics I have been able to get their attention and also made them to enjoy mathematics. The joy to see your students progressing in life and breaking ceiling is the joy of this occupation. I am always happy to be greeted on the streets by my students. Though due to the large numbers of students offering mathematics I don’t know all my students by name but I’m happy when some of them run to me in the market place, parks and street to greet me and tell me they are my students. It gives me immense job. These are the reasons I love the job.
Can you make out time for steemit?
The answer is yes! My job is not that much stressful and time consuming. After my classes for the day, I have time to research on topics and learn more. Most of those times, I log into steemit platform to read few post and learn. Steemit platform has really helped me in so many ways. My writing skills improve when I join this platform and I have learnt a lot of things like crypto, other people’s culture and food etc through this platform. So, no matter how busy I am during the day I will still make out time to peep into steemit platform and read few psots. Sometimes, I write steemit challenge in the office and post.
Could steemit be your first job?
For now, steemit cannot be my first job in the sense that I may not be able to make enough money for my upkeep in steemit at this point. This is due to there is no assurance of my posts getting votes. I have written many post which not graded not to talk of been voted. There are some of my posts which were graded but not voted. Due to this, I can’t make steemit my first job at the moment. I can only make steemit my first job if there is assurance of quality contents been voted then I can make steemit my first job.
How is your financial situation?
Though my situation is not stable at the moment due the hike of goods and service in my country but I am still trying my best to meet my needs and the needs of those depending on me. I believe if I am consistent in steemit platform and post quality contents then I can earn good fortune here which will improve my financial situation. To turn steemit into my work place, I need to be consistent and always put quality contents.
Being a mathematician, firstly I salute you, looks like you are the first person to ever tell me he/she studies mathematics, wow, the brain in your head must be active in constant calculations, in your way I see your reason for being friendly with your student, I can never like my mathematics teacher, but if I might like you if you were my maths teacher then, because if the way u say you teach your students.
Good publication and am surprised your post where not graded and it normal for sites not to come as votes are not guaranteed but you can make effort towards that, one advice ma'am, make yourself visible, break bridges and let your commitment be seen.. The secret is unveil to you, it is left to you now✌️

Thanks @olabillions for reading through my post. Just like you many people tell me how they hate their mathematics teacher😀😁😀😊. Mathematics is an easy subject but most teachers make it difficult by their attitude and the way present it.
Thanks for your advice. I will put more effort to make myself visible on this platform. I know growth is a gradual process.

In fact, it is much better to write. And when I write new and read other people's posts, I can actually learn a lot. You are a teacher there working alongside him and you have time on your hands so you can post and write something here to learn something. Nice to hear that.

Your dad must be very proud your career choice was influenced by him. Mathematics is not a very easy subject and to be teaching it both offline and online means you’re very good at it.
This means you have a tight schedule and to still make time for steemit just proves as humans we must learn to diversify.
