Hmm, a couple of you. How about if I give you his name... José Luis Chilavert.
Right, I see a few hands now. José Luis Chilavert was a Free Kick taking, Penalty taking Goalkeeper who played internationally for Paraguay (he played for Velez Sarsfield and some other clubs too but I only saw him for Paraguay in World Cups). He scored 46 club goals and 8 International goals source including a hat-trick in one match 👇

Wouldn't you love to see this in the Premier League? Well, last night Alisson Becker scored a last minute winner against West Brom with a superb header from a corner. It's been a while since a Goalkeeper scored in the Premier League with Asmir Begovic being the last one to do so back in 2013 - if Josh Kroenke wants to know what a windy night in Stoke is like, this is as good an example without going there.
Watching the video below, I remember all of these but the one that stands out for me is Tim Howard's goal for Everton. The reason? I had him in goal in my Fantasy Football team 🤣 I remember being incredibly disappointed that it only got me 6 points but them's the rules. Other than that, we have plenty of flukes and some great technique by Peter Schmeichel. Enjoy 👇

What a header by Alisson. If I recall correctly, Asmir Begovic struggled to celebrate because he felt too bad for his opposite number, Artur Boruc (who was an unbelievable Goalkeeper, against Reading).

Maybe it's because I was born in the 2000s but Ive never heard of this so i just had to watch the video to see it for myself. hahaha
I think it was the World Cups of 1998 and 2002 so I'm surprised you can't remember him in 2002 😆

Everything else would have looked funny to me.
But its funny how higuita's players where looked calm anytime he had the ball🤣
Can you imagine?? You could almost sense them thinking "here we go again, I'll drop back". I wonder if he ever got tackled and conceded a goal as a result!
Oh my God, but its almost like the opponents had to foul him before they could get the ball from him.

Ha ha, that was mad! The mad thing for me, I was planning the Post before Alisson's header, which explains why his header wasn't mentioned until halfway through! 😁

Gracias amigo, it's interesting how different ages of people living on different continents remember different players. That's one thing I like about Steemit, being exposed to the variety of cultures that you wouldn't experience elsewhere.

Higuita got 44?! I had absolutely no idea. I remember him for 1 thing and nothing else. That video's superb.
