Senegal at Final
I could vividly remember the Africa cup of nation that Mali hosted in 2002, the Semi final to be precise, that was when Senegal and Cameroon met but Cameroon qualified for final with penalty shoot out. The record would repeat itself if Cameroon could beat Egypt and then qualify for the final match but I'm very sure what happened twenty years ago can't repeat itself anymore because football has advanced, there is goal line technology and video assistant referee (VAR)
Things are not the same as before, experience matters when it comes to football, so as Senegal have experience players and it's helping them. The FIFA best goal keeper is now in African, the first of its kind, no Africa goal keeper as ever win such award. He's in Africa performing his duty when they announced him as the best goal keeper of the year. Senegal has Sadio Mané, Mohammed Elnemy and then Edouard Mendy that are playing in international, in England to be precise and their experiences is really helpful to Senegal.
Edouard Mendy has saved Senegal so much at the back, and then Sadio Mané has also saved Senegal, especially the last goal he scored which qualified him to be the man of the match and sent Senegal to final stage. Now Senegal has qualify for the final and they have never raise the cup before, what would happen in the final is what we don't know but it's a good record as they have reach the last final stage. No final as ever easy, if Cameroon qualify, then the final would be in between two countries that never raise the cup before.
Egypt is one of the countries that has won many Africa cup nations but that doesn't mean they won't want to win it, Even Real Madrid won tremble Champions league.
It was a very interesting game between the two teams producing 4 goals in just 30 minutes. I really enjoyed the game.
