The player of the month nomination
I don't know the quality that the England FA see which makes them nominates players, because the there are so many players that are good than the ones they nominate now
England FA nominated; Joachim Andersen, Harvey Barnes, Joao Cancelo, Bruno Fernandes, Ilkay Gundogan, Jesse Lingard, Ruben Neves and Raphinha
I think they are being nominated due to the form and position the club they play for is. Those guys are very good on their own but if I would nominate, I won't nominate players that drop form when they face big teams. Only when Bruno Fernandez is useful is when free kick occur when he face big teams, he don't use to play against big teams like he plays against small teams
Jesse Lingard has never been nominated when he was at Manchester United, it is as if David Moyes bring out his glory when at West Ham united because they way he play is much more difference than the way he played at Manchester United
The only player I know that he is worth the nomination and worth winning the best player of February is IIkay Gundogan. He is one of the best of Manchester City players . Only he I would cast my vote for if I have the power to vote but the problem is the vote. Vote makes players that don't worth taking award take the award
In the past month, I can understand most of these nominations with the exception of Bruno Fernandes and Ruben Neves. Fernandes has looked tired and been unable to have an impact on games so I see his inclusion as pandering to the huge Manchester United fan base.
It's hard to look beyond the team that have won every game but I'm going to! For me, Andersen, Barnes, Lingard and Raphina stand out.
But the winner for me is Raphinha. Watching Leeds lately, he looks like he'll create or score a goal every time he gets the ball and is the kind of player you pay money to watch. He's got my vote.
