Greetings Everyone, This is SHOHANA From #Bangladesh

Environment is getting polluted everyday and the issue is now an international concern. More or less each countries get polluted in many ways and garbage management gets out of control for over population and unnecessary production. Plastic is harmful for our environment but we still doesn't has good alternative to plastic that can be eco friendly.

Plastic materials are cheap and affordable so common people randomly use it and don't know how to dispose it because it is bad for soil and when burn it could pollute the air. This was just an example though there are many objects like plastic that can be harmful for environment and mismanagement of it can cause waste problem.

What do you think when you see someone throwing rubbish carelessly? and, in your country what is the form of punishment for people who deliberately throw rubbish carelessly?

Often I see kids and adults throw their chips packet, used tissue papers, plastic water bottles and many kind of wastes randomly on the street or park. Though there are many road cleaners appointed by city corporation to clean the roads but consciousness hardly found among people and they throw garbages anywhere. There are very few people who use dustbin or garbage box and teach their kids to use them too.

No serious punishment for people who found making mess on the road, park or somewhere they go in public. Some restricted area fine money to those messy people but this is very rare. There are many men found peeing in street wall like other animals and people can't walk beside the wall because of the stink of urine, this is unbearable and still exist in many urbans and rural areas.

At your place, is waste used to increase income? What are the benefits of waste that can make money there?

Yes as far I know waste materials can help making money. Making money from wasted materials is possible when those materials are recyclable or reproductionable. For example plastic bottles can be sold to make money because it is recyclable and there are many waste materials can help people making money. But most of the waste are burned as those are not reusable. Burning waste cause air pollution but who cares? Very few people cares but they can't do anything effective until it harm anyone individually.

In your opinion, how do you manage household waste properly so that it does not have a bad impact on the environment?

Well, in cities there are some garbage collectors who collect it building to buildings and they get paid too. Not sure if garbage collectors get any salary from city corporation or not but they charge money each building or floor owners in the flats and household waste can be managed this way. In rural areas there are many den where people store garbages and those garbages cause stink and pollute the air, but when they bury it or burn it then it can be good for environment.

Will the accumulation of large amounts of waste affect the comfort of people in your neighboring country? How did that happen? share your opinion

Well I don't think a large amount of waste affect the comfort of people in my neighboring country because we manage waste in our own area but the pollution of river can affect but it should be a rare case. Honestly I don't read newspaper regularly but never heard that our wasted materials crossed it's border and enter my neighbor countries. There are many areas in my city where garbages are not properly managed or disposed but its not that serious that our neighbor country will be disturbed.

Permanent solution of garbage management only possible when there will be a massive consciousness and concern. Our problem is that we doesn't care about public issues and things that disturb public but when it comes to us and affect the health of our friends and family, we start showing concern. We should treat the nature and whole environment as our own responsibility and then we can expect a solution of any serious problem like this one.

It's true, even now we often see people throwing away rubbish while riding motorbikes, and then throwing the rubbish carelessly. As if, this world belonged to him. 🤣🤣🤣. In my place it often happens like that. Has something like that ever happened where you live, hahaah.
Best wishes to you my friend. And good luck in this week's competition.

We generate waste daily which contributes to high rate of pollution in our environment. The solution is also in our hands but surprisingly, some stubborn humans refuse to adhere to the orientation that was given on how to manage waste. Good to read about your thoughts on waste management.
Nice job 👍🏻
Success in the challenge!

Hello SHOHANA! 🌼 Your blog sheds light on the pressing issue of environmental pollution, and your candid reflections add a touch of reality. Let's dive into the waste whirlpool:

Your depiction of plastic as a cheap yet harmful material is spot on. It's a sad truth that alternatives aren't as readily available. The image you painted of people carelessly disposing of waste, oblivious to its consequences, resonates globally. The struggle for environmental consciousness is indeed an uphill battle.

The lack of serious punishment for those who litter in public places, including the issue of public urination, highlights a systemic challenge. It's a tough situation when a few fines or restrictions aren't enough to deter such behaviors. The stench of urine on public walls is undoubtedly an unpleasant experience for everyone around!

Your insight into waste being a potential income source, especially through recycling, is valuable. Turning recyclable materials like plastic bottles into income is a step towards sustainable waste management. However, the burning of non-reusable waste remains a concerning practice, contributing to air pollution.

The differentiation between waste management in urban and rural areas is striking. While garbage collectors play a role in cities, rural areas face challenges like stink and air pollution from improperly managed garbage. Burying or burning waste is presented as a solution, but the overall impact on the environment should be carefully considered.

Your perspective on waste not affecting the comfort of people in neighboring countries is optimistic. However, it's crucial to acknowledge the potential impact of pollution on rivers that may flow across borders. A call for mass consciousness and concern resonates strongly as the key to a permanent solution.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this critical issue. I appreciate your honesty and call for collective responsibility. Keep spreading awareness and inspiring positive change! 🌍💚🌟
