The traditional fastival of my area!

There are so many festivals are celebrated in our area which have unique cultural value . But i like the most is celebration of spring festival . This festival is celebrated in most area of our country with different zeal and joy . Its may be listed for various days .

In our area this festival is listed for three days in which different lok programs are arranged and also flower exhibition are occur in different places also in schools , collages universities and also the programs are arranged . The pakhtoon celebrate their cultural day in which different performance are shown on local pashto songs and also the traditionl dresses are worn by the people .

How spring fastival is celebrated?

This tradition is unique by various aspect and favourite off all . Its is celebrated in the joy of spring arrival . I like the most flower axhibition . Every where different flowers where grown which make the enviroment more pleasant and beautiful . In our country this festival is celebrated almost every where in which schools,collages, offices etc are decorated with colorful flowers .

Including this the other festivals celebrated in the arrival of spring in pakistan and in my province kpk are jashn -e- baharaan or may called basant . In this festival people take part in various cultural activities, fly kites, and enjoy traditional music and dances during this festival . Also the different games were play like polo , hockey etc . Lots of people come to watch the game and enjoy it .

Basant is cultural festival which is celebrated in our area in which the people fly kite and show different activities . This festival is celebrated in different way according to the culture of the area . But there are some common traditions . Which are following .

One of the common thing is Flying Kites . The people of different age kids , young and middle age gather on roof , open area or grounds and fly kite of various color .

The other common thing among all is wearing yellow dress . All the people wear yellow dress which symbolize the blooming flowers of spring.

The 3rd common thing is Music and Dance .This is the essential part of the festival . In which the every area own traditional dance and music are performed . In my area most popular attan songs are play on which people perform attan .

In short its a very joyful festival in which family and friends come togehter and enjoy kit flying dance and delicious meals . They sharing the joy of the occasion with each others .
