Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 6 Week 1 :Tips for doing steemit promos

Congratulations to Steem Indonesia for being selected to host the Steem engagement challenge this season. I so much look forward to the greatness and growth of this community.
This challenge is to tell you how I personally promote Steem, my method, style and the activities I engage in promoting Steem
My steemit promotion style
The style I use in getting people to join steemit is mostly sharing the testimonies of how much I have earned from steemit by showing them my Steem wallet. This method works well for me as I don't need to begin convincing them for a long time

On this week's steemit promotion engagement challenge, I talked to my roommate who is the best
n't on the platform yet.
INTRODUCING STEEM TO MY ROOMMATE
My roommate is a college student and as a student, she always complains of having to pay so much money when she doesn't have enough. She really needs money to sort out some of her fees in school and doesn't want to always depend on family.
So I introduced her to the Blockchain. I used my steemit wallet as an evidence and testimony that steemit really pays and it's profitable to register .

I also assured her that she can sort out her school bills if she posts consistently and engage in daily and weekly challenge for the next 3 months
Her opinion about steemit
Her opinion wasn't great and wasn't bad neither
She talked badly about how the cryptocurrency are falling and how it might take longer than expected to make enough money to foot her bills
She also mentioned the time factor challenge since she goes to school daily, but I assured her that steemit is a fun and easy platform and she can scale through it of she is determined.
She also talked about how unsteady the Steem curators vote or any big upvoters comes, she felt it won't be very easy
Lastly, she was worried how to begin, I assured her that steemit is user friendly and I have help her throughout her journey on steemit
She finally decided to register next week and determined to create content that will attract high votes
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, I can proudly say the style I use most in promoting Steem and getting people to join is by telling them how profitable it can be by showing them an evidence of my steemit wallet. This method always works out

I quite well agree with you that sharing testimonies goes a long way to attracting users. It's in human nature to be sure it's worth their time before putting in time/effort.

I concur with this mode of convincing your prospects. It is a more practical way if telling one that it is favoring me why not also give it a trial.
This happens to also be my mode of promoting steem and steemit platform aside other media hype.
