Government is such an interesting aspect of human survival. This aspect deals with how a group of people are being controlled by a person or a group of people. It’s mode of application differs from place to place. There are places who welcome the decision of the people alongside with the leader’s own, that is Democracy. Other works with the absolute decision of the leader alone, that’s dictatorship. In this article, let’s see which one is better according to my opinion.
Democracy or dictatorship: which is better for stability and progress?
For me, democracy is a suitable system of government which enables the establishment of progress and stability. Democracy has its potential of sustaining progress and stability on a country since it’s the people’s government. We all know that progress is achieved when two or more people joins hands to achieve a common aim. On the other hand, dictatorship enhance a one-man decision which usually hinder progress.

How does democracy help a country move forward compared to a dictatorship?
As I said earlier, a democratic government involves the citizens in its decision making. Any decision to be made is discussed with the people. From this act, the people have their say which can be an added advantage. When the policy is finally launched, the people will implement it faster and in a better way.

Can a dictatorship handle tough time better than democracy?
In my view, dictatorship cannot handle tough time and hardship the way democracy does. In this case, permit me to use my country as a case study, Nigeria is currently facing some economic setback or hardship. But we survived this hardship in a special way. Since the country provide a freedom to speech to its citizens, we use this opportunity to catch cruise in any situations. This single act can make us overlook the suppressing present rather looking into the future.

Why is personal freedom important for a country to grow under different types of government?
Personal freedom is super important in any assembly of people because of its immense importance. Personal freedom can stimulate an individual to produce his best effort for the growth of the country. Being in bondage might produce result but not as better as a free person. I guess this personal freedom should be applicable to all governments in different countries.
