This year's Steemit Engagement Challenge - S8W2 main topic is Review Your Favorite Shopping Mall. Today I am going to share with you about my favorite shopping mall. Where I shop for my daily essentials as well as having a great place to entertain my family. One of the very popular shopping malls in Bangladesh, which is why I am describing it in detail.

My favorite mall is Bashundhara City Shopping Mall located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Marketed as Bashundhara City Shopping Complex or Bashundhara City Shopping Mall, it is a shopping mall in Dhaka. Bashundhara City is not just a shopping mall, but the city's most prominent entertainment, fashion, dining and social life under one roof. Bashundhara City is a 19 storey high rise building complex. The mall is located at Panthpath near Kawran Bazar, and was opened to the public on 6 August 2004. The mall also accommodates 2,325 retail stores and cafeterias.
This mall has become my favorite because I get many facilities in this mall at once. For example, it has a huge underground gymnasium, a Star Cineplex cinema, a penthouse food court, an ice skating rink, a theme park, a fitness club and a swimming pool, in addition to having the famous salons of the big Bangladeshi brands. It also includes Bashundhara Group's 19th floor corporate offices.
The major attractions are its wide range of games and rides collection and pollution free, safe and friendly environment. The Group now has a strong workforce with proven professional and technical skills who are ready to take on the challenges of the new millennium in technological, economic and environmental conditions.
A shopping mall is a place where there are many buildings each containing shops with different items In malls, there are shops selling clothing, food, games, etc. We may choose to buy branded clothes as well as non-branded clothes that are cheaper. Bashundhara City Shopping Mall has all types of stores including local brands as well as international brands. Likewise product quality level and customer service plays an important role in building reputation and popularity of mall among the public. Factors such as promotional offers, displays and signage, visual merchandising, product merchandising, customer treatment, and mall environment can influence consumer buying decisions that attract them to the mall.
Security guards at shopping malls also play a vital role in crowd control. They help manage foot traffic flow during busy times, such as the holiday shopping season, and ensure that fire codes and occupancy limits are not exceeded. They also help keep public areas of the mall clean and tidy, which helps create a pleasant shopping experience for visitors. They also monitor security cameras and alarm systems and respond to emergencies like fires, medical incidents and other crises. In emergency situations, they work closely with local emergency services to ensure the safety of mall patrons and employees.
The services offered by mall security are presented below :
- Security guards who provide 24/7 security.
- Bodyguards are those who provide security to dignitaries with special needs.
- Gunners who are ready to deal with the unexpected light of the mall.
- Lady guards who only ensure the safety of girls.
- Peon services who are engaged in carrying goods to customers.
- Mall authorities are constantly monitoring with CCTV.
- Provides protection against accidental fire by Fire Watch service.
My most favorite thing about this mall is Star Cineplex. Star Cineplex was launched in Bangladesh on 8 October 2004 at Bashundhara City Shopping Mall, Panthpath, Dhaka. The multiplex is well-equipped with facilities like state-of-the-art 3D projection technology, silver screen, Dolby-digital sound, stadium seating. and the ATMOS sound system. Modern technology-driven systems and luxurious seating can make the cinema experience a truly memorable one.

Star Cineplex ensures worldwide movie release on the same day so that fans can experience the movie with the world. With a total seating capacity of more than 3500 seats, theater branches offer large lobbies with concession stands serving fan-favorite popcorn, soft drinks, snacks, desserts and more. In addition to scheduled shows, Star Cineplex also caters for special corporate bookings, red-carpet premieres and private events.
The issue of sarees is closely related to women of Bangladesh. Because Bangladeshi women love to wear sarees on any festival occasion. I also love wearing saree. I often purchase sarees from Bashundhara City Mall. Because there is a collection of all types of sarees, both domestic and foreign, of very good and high quality. I am mentioning some saree prices on Steam and TRX below.

Among the shopping malls of the country, Bashundhara City is the first location. Here you will find the perfect shopping opportunity among many of the ever popular markets. This market should not be crowded during Eid only. When Eid comes, it becomes more complete. At present, this mall is catering to all the needs. Therefore, along with the upper and middle class, lower and middle class families also choose it as a unique means of shopping.
