I just woke up to a shocking, annoying and good news at the same time that after the long stress, starvation, which many persons have passed through in Nigeria, the CBN finally announced the usage of the old Naira notes. How do you see this? Very frustrating right?

Well, I will be discussing with us today about Fashion Trending Impact in the Society. Although a lot of people have different perspectives about fashion. What fashion means for Mr A might not be same meaning for Mr B. So fashion can be for you, your mode of dressing, mode of speaking, mode of makeup, mode of writing etc.

Fashion for me is a form of self expression, expressing your beauty sense through dressing. Fashion can also be ones trending beauty in clothes, in makeup, in walking steps, in styling hair. Most times I hear people tell some of their friends or their parents that they don't know anything in fashion.

Well this is because what those people know as fashion may not be trending again within the society and now the trending ones, they lack knowledge of it. Fashion varies, some fashion has seasons and some retrend even when forgotten by so many.

Some of the social issues in fashion includes;

Working Conditions, Forced Labour, Wages

Wages: Wages is one of the social issues in fashion. This is the due amount given to a fashionista for a job well done over a period of time. Now, in most cases, the due payments becomes a problem there by causing the individual lack of concentration. Here in Nigeria, you see a child of 10-15 years of age serving in a fashion house, doing all the hard work and at the end of the day, peanuts is been given to the child.

This situation makes one have a low standard of living. Most of them tend not to deliver in due time. Not only do low wages keep fashionista in a poverty cycle, but they also increase the pressure to work overtime hours, causing problems health wise, and production wise.

We have some challenges that are in fashion and because fashion is not steady, it tends to bring changes in so many areas. We will look at

New Materials: This is something that changes from time to time. Every year in the series, we see new materials, new makeup equipments, new footwears, new jewelries, etc. This becomes a challenge to the fashion house if the old stock is more than the new stock. For the fashion house, they wish to eradicate the old materials before the trending ones goes viral.

But for the customer, he/she desire the trending materials. Once not given what he/she desire, it becomes a challenge a to fashion. Everyone want to be trending at all time.

Digitization: The world itself has gone digital. Although there are some fashionista that does not know where the world is. Digitalization is a peak because now in the fashion line, everything is been done digitally and imagine where a fashionista does not have an android phone, he/she is still using the manual way, system, pattern, to operate. It will be a big challenge to the business.

People who can respond to changes in the fashion industry are the only ones who can survive, according to MC Kinsey and Company.

Sustainability: Most consumers now prefer going for the long lasting, high quality items for their fashion. Of course no one would enjoy waste,and with this, fashion waste is controlled and the productivity life span is elongated. Consumers now creating their styles instead of following the trending that might last just for few months.

The future of fashion is been determine by sustainability and digitization. Fashion is going digital. Most companies are developing their fashion products to 3D technology. Nowadays, 3D images looks more like a real photograph. So imagine where a product can be marketed online, even before it is produced. This is a new possibility in the fashion world. With this, most fashion brands has added advantage to sell products in NFTs and not just in the real world. I see fashion getting there.

Well, I have been a steemian for the past 2years. And of course steemit is a fashion world for me. A lot of changes has taken place in my life since I joined steemit. While reading some persons posts, I learn some cooking methods, dressing methods, singing pattern, drawing just like steemwomen community would always host contest; DIY (Do It Yourself) and some beauty care tips. All these factors really changed me in so many ways. I am not easily influenced by what I see or read, but because this is a learning ground combined with lots of fashion, I choose to be influnced

As about 5 years ago, I only use powder on my face. I don't know how to apply any artificial item on my face, I can't even draw my brows, that was really bad as a lady. But now I can at least carve my brows and line them up for an occasion, please don't laugh I have improved so well. Steemit has really done noble for me.

Well, just as the name sounds, "Fashion Trend", it is the trending fashion that is popular in a society at a given period of time. Fashion has become the way of life that everyone adapts to the trending fashion in his /her society.

Positive Impacts:
•The fact that one is willing to learn and go digital, fashion trends can transform a nobody to somebody in the society.
•It creates avenue for young learners now to explore more beautiful and creative designs for the future.
•It makes one the talk of the town. Leaving you very popular and well noticed.

Negative Impact:
•This new fashion trend will so affect the younger generations because they only believe in what is now, what they see influences them a lot. Just like my city; port Harcourt, the younger generations here believes that if you do not have an i-phone, you don't have a phone.

•Traditional culture and dressing will be lost all because of this new fashion trends.

My Personality: The positive impact in my life is that fashion trends has taught me a lot and I have chosen the once I wish to accept. There are so much to see and of course not all that needs to be accepted. There are some styles of clothes, shoes, makeup, jewelries I see people put on but when I try to put them on, I find out that they are not my thing.

Fashion is a lovely and beautiful way of life. Although some persons tend to abuse it with any new trending style they see. Fashion is really going digital in a way that soon avatar will be created in place of physical human beings to their body sizes and shapes. I am a fashion lover but only when it comes to my taste. Some people wear some trending clothes because they saw it on someone's body. Always go for what fits and gives you nice shape.
