Contest: The Debate (Week 41); Means of Transportation; which is the best
Hello friends and Famz, it feels good to be here guys, it's my first time participating in a contest in this noble community, and it am super glad it's a contest organized by a friend @sahmie. I deemed it fit to hop in on this contest as I've got a thing or two to share about this week's contest. Let's get into it guys!
We have diverse means of transportation and they are all unique in their way. It has also been discovered that some of these means of transportation posses higher level of advantage over the other.
Transportation is something that is as old as man himself. Movement of people and their goods started with legs and then it moved to using animals for movement.
It didn't stop there, bicycle came into the scene, form there we had motorcycles and then cars, to train on land... On water we have canoes and then other sophisticated motors on water.
The most fascinating part of all is that of the air, inventors came up with something mind-blowing and that's aircraft. This is still the height of it all in all of the invention so far and it seems to stand out from every other means of transportation.
So if am to chose the best of all, I will definitely go for Transportation by Air especially when my goal is comfort and speed over a long distance.
• Speed: If one is looking for speed when it comes to transportation, your best bet is the transportation by Air. The speed at which a plane move is more than that of a car or even a sport car. A plane covers thousands of kilometers in few hours
• Absence of Traffic: Planes travels in the air, the air is not congested with planes unlike the land that is already saturated with all manner of vehicles which leads to traffic and hold up especially on days that really matter to you. Imagine missing a profitable business deal because you were held up in a traffic.
• Less Fatigue: The journey by Air is quite enjoyable, it doesn't come with unnecessary fatigue that other means of transportation has. I can't forget that period in my life that I had to travel for about two days to the northern part of Nigeria by road...mehn it was not an easy one. I got tired at a point, you can be sure the experience would have been different if it were to be by air.
• Dependability: You can always bank on the credibility of an aircraft especially when it comes to schedule. They can assure you they will be moving at a particular time and so be it, they stick to their schedule and this particular feature is a very good feature for business owners...for those who love to run on schedule without any form of interruption.
• Comfort: When it comes to comfort, you can be sure you will get the best from traveling by Air. Planes are spacious and more comfortable, that's actually the design, it has a benchmark for the number of people it can allow, there is no sentiment to it, this also include the size or weight of luggages to be taken into it. All these are just to ensure passengers get the best of experience while on transit.
• It's expensive: traveling by air is quite expensive and sometimes it usually beyond the reach of an average man. In other words not everyone would be able to afford to travel by air especially when going on a long distance.
• Climatic Barriers: This is another challenge associated with traveling by air. The weather determines to a large extent if there would be movement or not. If the weather is not fair enough for a plane to move, it would have to be grounded.
• Not suitable for Cargoes: if movement of good in larger quantities is your goal, then transit by air is not your best bet, there is a limit to what you can move by air. Everything has to be weighed and checked before they are moved, this is done to avoid plane crash in the long run.
My choice when it comes to transportation will still be traveling by air (plane) as we can see from my discussion, the advantages of traveling by air outweighs it disadvantages.
Am sure if everyone have what it takes to travel by air over a long and short distances, we would all subscribe to it but because of the obvious barrier of the cost implication, we have to look into other means of transportation.
Let me draw the curtain here even as I invite my friends @m-fdo @josepha @rakiya to this contest. I hope they find it pretty interesting.Gracias!
