This post is my entry for the competition SFS Contest Week 18 | Drawing Contest | Draw Coffee Beans | 5 SP + Booming Vote organized by Dear @hive-126193 in the wonderful community Steem Fashion&Style.
I saw this competition and without further hesitation decided to take part in it and draw a coffee bean.
It turned out a little futuristic and its size in comparison with a coffee cup is not a violation of perspective, it is symbolism that speaks of the path that the coffee bean takes and its finish is in such a cup.

I see that one of the requirements of the competition is the presence of a selfie, but I don’t like taking selfies, I like to draw, and if my participation is not taken into account, in any case, I enjoyed what I loved, I drew lol.
Those people who know me are aware that I draw only what I remember and never use nature for my drawings, because. Considering that I drink ground coffee, the bean I drew may differ from the coffee bean in nature.
I remember that the shapes of coffee beans are not at all ideal and they are very different from what is depicted on the logos of coffee companies, and this is what I started from when working on a very complex bean shape.
I took a long break from drawing as a hobby and now I had to remember how to work on shadows and shapes.
This drawing can be endlessly perfected, but for me it was a quick drawing that I spent about one hour on.
I wish everyone to wake up to the aroma of hot coffee from the best varieties!
