SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 21

It’s was a beautiful sunny day and I was elated as I would be traveling to the other side of town to see a friend of mine who I haven’t seen in a long while. We were child hood friends and have really come a long way and she got married and relocated to another town. I happened to relocate to the same town years later.

You could imagine the joy and excitement we were nursing if we finally got to meet each other. I packed me a little bag for two days stay and headed over to her place. But on getting to her house, I was greeted by a surprise welcome. Her three dogs.

I knew she had a dog some years ago and I was hoping to meet her dog only to be met my three instead. The barking was out of this world probably because they hadn’t seen me before.

The dogs barked while she tried calming them down and she told me that they would later become friends with me soonest. I was skeptical initially but guess what, soonest they were coming around, sniffing and shaking their tails at me. And as a player, I played along.

Let me reiterate that am not a dog person. I don’t know how to play with dogs because I feel they could bite at any time but after much reassurance from my friend about how friendly the dogs are, I was bold to give it a try.

We created such a unique bond of romance that the dogs were licking me up in no time. I squealed in delight as they jump and run around doing their antics and tantrums. It was a time of fellowship with the three four footed animals.

We had fun together and I enjoyed my stay with my new found friends Rusky, flame and and Yola. It was a good day I still cherish the memories . Dogs are indeed man’s best friend.
