CLASSIFICATION AND MORPHOLOGY OF WOOD GRASS (VALANGA NIGRICORNIS)
Grasshoppers are a type of herbivorous animal belonging to the order Orthoptera with the family Acrididae. This animal has two antennae on the head that are shorter than the body shape. These grasshoppers also have long and strong hind femurs so they can jump well, and even have a habit of chirping or making noises at night.
In general, this grasshopper has several types such as wood grasshoppers, praying grasshoppers, and leaf grasshoppers. Wood locusts generally have wings to fly, but are rarely used to fly. Based on a research and observation this wood locust can be classified based on taxonomic levels, namely as follows :

This wooden grasshopper has a body shape consisting of 3 main parts, the head, chest, and abdomen. The wood locust also has 6 jointed legs, 2 pairs of wings and two pairs of antennae. The long hind legs are used to jump far and high, while the short front legs are used for walking.
Grasshoppers also have keen hearing, although they do not have ears. The grasshopper's hearing device is almost called the tympsnum and is located on the abdmon (stomach) close to the wing. This Typnpanun is in the form of a large round disk consisting of several processor parts and has nerves that are used to monitor vibrations from the air.
Wood grasshoppers also contain a lot of protein, minerals and high vitamins so that many people consume this wood grasshopper. These grasshoppers can be used as snacks to reduce fat and even herbal and alternative medicinal ingredients to cure various diseases.
