듀얼방향 ETF라는 특이한 ETF가 상장된 것 같습니다.

지난 1일 상장한 The Innovator Equity Dual Directional 15 Buffer ETF(DDFL)는 옵션 매매로 강세장뿐만 아니라 일부 약세 구간에서도 수익이 나는 구조를 만든다. 기존 버퍼 ETF에서 풋옵션 매수를 늘린 대신 매도하는 콜옵션의 행사가격을 낮췄다. 따라서 SPY ETF가 하락하는 일부 구간에서도 수익이 발생한다.
위 ETF 같은 경우 1년 동안 SPY ETF 기준 하방 손실은 15%까지 방어하는 대신 상방 이익은 8.79%로 제한된다. 기존 버퍼(12.09%)보다 상방 이익이 낮지만 대신 SPY 일부 하락 구간에서는 최대 15%까지 수익이 발생할 수 있다. 기존 버퍼 ETF에서 상승 여력을 낮춘 대신 하락 구간 내 수익성을 높였다고 볼 수 있다.

양방향 수익에 상방 8.79%, 하방 15%의 캡과 버퍼가 씌어져 있는 구조인 것 같습니다.
환율효과까지 감안한다면 충분히 매력적인 ETF로 자리매김할지 좀더 모니터링이 필요할 것 같습니다.
