It is lovely to see 100 of you Subscribe to ecoTrain so quickly.. if it wasn’t for communities I would have never known that so many Steemians are watching and listening as we chug along our journey's together. That if nothing else already makes these Steem changes special!

If you would like to post with the ecoTrain community then here is more information. First thing to know is what we are about, and what is appropriate to share with us! ecoTrain is about many things, we sum it up with the motto "Supporting People Who Make This World A Better Place".We love to curate people who post interesting or helpful posts on topics including:

Sustainability, ecoVillages, Community, Self-sufficiency, Off-grid Living, Homesteading, Permaculture, Alternative Energy, Alternative Lifestyle, Natural Health, Cooking, Eco-Building (esp. earthships), Recycling, Esoteric, Inner Transformation, Spiritual, Nature - in short, all the topics relating to the eco-paradigm shift.

ecoTrain are curating with around 60,000 Steem Power, and both @artemislives and I are busy every day looking at our feeds to curate, engage, and connect with you. Since we love the Comnmunity view of Steem, we are prioritising most of our up-votes to people who post to our community page. When you post TO our community page it goes on the community feed and our community can all easily see it. This is a great improvement and so we want to encourage you to post and engage there.

Once you are Subscribed!

You can post to the ecoTrain community from any submit page by changing the option at the top where it says "Write a new post in".. Just change it so it says to post in ecoTrain. If you don't see the option then you may not be subscribed!

 

That's it, you are ready to write your post, which will automatically appear in our page. You can also tag your post to be in other normal Blog tags at the bottom. Please do continue to use the ecotrain tag as well as any other Blog tags that you like. Note that you can only post to one community at a time, and using COMMUNITY/HIVE tags will have no effect.

How To Share Videos and Posts from Threespeak, Dtube etc.

When you post using sites like threespeak and dtube, the first tag and/or community is chosen for you. If you post using threespeak then you will automatically post in their community. But what if you want to have your post show up in another community of your choosing? Right now the new accepted way is to double post! Did I just say this, yes i did! Double posting has suddenly become OK, at least if you are only posting once and to a community.

If you are lucky your video may also get cross-posted by someone to their community, that is out of your control and is always a nice surprise, if you notice is happening!
