#NeverTrump? #NeverJoe!

I've said it before and I'll say it again; Joe Biden will lose against Trump in general elections. The Democrats could have prevented that horror scenario by not coalescing behind Biden as a last ditch effort to stop Sanders, because Sanders still is their only candidate who has a realistic chance of beating the infamous Orange Man.

Also, Sanders himself could have done more to attack Biden on his corrupt record, but Sanders is a genuinely nice and friendly man who would never use negative attacks on his opponent. When one of his surrogates rightly spelled out Biden's corruption in an article, Sanders apologized to BIDEN! He said, as he always does, that Joe is his good friend and a decent man, and that he would never call him "corrupt." Well, if you've read yesterday's post or followed Biden's career these past decades, you know how corrupt he really is. Sanders ran a program saying that Biden's politics, the politics of the Democratic party of the last half century are an existential problem for poor and working class people, but at the same time he mentions that he'll fully support the eventual nominee, regardless who that is. Sanders will no doubt do everything possible to help Joe win the general elections if he becomes the Democratic nominee, something that's almost certain after Biden's convincing win last night. I believe that's ultimately why Sanders will lose the primaries; if you want to run as a revolutionary, you have to act like one. You know who did that? Trump did; he threatened that he would make sure none of his followers would vote for the eventual Republican nominee if they would abuse their power to stop his surge in the polls. That's what Bernie should have done, instead of playing nice all the time. I don't want to beat him up over that though; like I said, it's who he is, an overly decent and caring man.

That's my only criticism of Sanders; I don't agree with the criticism that he should have been politically more strategic, and forge alliances within the Democratic party; that would have been equally antithetical to the revolutionary nature of his campaign. And I'll add this: Bernie doesn't have to remind his followers to not vote for Biden, not now, not anymore. If he had done that during the campaign it could have had an impact, just like it did for Trump in 2016. But if Biden becomes the Democratic candidate, I promise that the Democrats will lose against Trump this year because the Democratic party has chased away Sanders' followers. During this campaign they've treated Sanders and his supporters with utter disdain, smearing Sanders every chance they got and lashing out at the "Bernie bros", even comparing them with Brownshirts (Nazis) and comparing the rise of the Sanders campaign with the rise of Germany leading up to the Second World War. It's been ugly; the Democratic party establishment and their ghouls in the mainstream media were more insulting towards Sanders and his supporters than they've ever been against Trump and his followers. This is why they've already lost the 2020 elections; try getting all those younger voters, Latino voters and working class voters with a sub 50,000 dollar income to vote for you after bashing and insulting them for a full year. They won't show up for you. "Vote blue no matter who" doesn't fly with them, trust me. And they'll be blamed if Biden loses, just like they were blamed for Hillary Clinton's defeat in 2016.

It's not all lost yet; there's still the debate on March 15. But the states that follow are particularly problematic for Sanders, with Florida being the main stumbling-block; the many voters from Cuban descent will vote for Biden after the mainstream smear campaign regarding Sanders' remarks about Fidel Castro. It doesn't matter that what Sanders said is a simple factual statement, literacy did rise significantly when Castro came to power, and it doesn't matter that Obama said the EXACT same thing while trying to normalize relationships with Cuba; Sanders is depicted as someone who supports totalitarian communist regimes in the mainstream, when the opposite is true. Do you even know how much of a hero Castro was to Nelson Mandela and all who fought against Apartheid? And that America supported the Apartheid regimes of South Africa? It's truly awe inspiring to witness how well the brainwashing works, and truly frustrating as well. The Democrats have alienated 40 percent of their base. Their preferred nominee has spit in their face already by announcing that he would veto medicare for all, when it's proven to be overwhelmingly popular in ALL states that have voted thus far. Under Biden there will be no medicare for all, no trade reforms, no wealth tax, no green new deal, no tuition free college and no legal marijuana; the Democratic voters are FOR all these policies, but voted against their own interests AGAIN by falling for the "electability" propaganda pushed in the mainstream. Biden and the Democrats will need a miracle, or another major crisis to have any chance at all at recapturing the White House; the first is unlikely and the latter is something no one wants to happen and will convict Biden to being a one-term president. At some point the second amendment version of pitchforks will come out if you suppress the majority of the people long enough, and if that happens, it'll happen when a Democratic president screws over their working class base one time too often; we can only hope that's not in the next four years. Probably not, as Trump will win his second term against a Democratic candidate as weak as Biden.
