Art Contest "Visualize your dreams!" Entry
Hello all, this is my canadian entry for the Visualize your dreams contest made by @veta-less for the #ARTSteemit new community. I am using this contest just as an excuse to draw about one of the most fascinating dreams I ever had, but also if it can help this community to kick off.
Now to the dream : don't get me wrong, I have tons of dreams and some did leave a mark, but what I like about this one is that I was really young (not even 6 yet, still 5), and back then we did not have a TV that I could access, so the influence was limited.
It was really short, but I still got the chills and felt like a hell of a nightmare at the time. In fact, I got up and went to my parents bed for the rest of that night. Today is quite a differwnt stroy, it is one of my favorite ones.
So in all the dreams I got, even if this one occurred many years ago, I remember it clear as day and it is a dream that I have search upon many times throughout the course of my life. Why, because I was seeing reference to it years after having it and got curious to see if it had a meaning (Say thank you to television 😁). I came to the conclusion that it was just a dream with cool coincidences. Still love it to this day.
So basically, like I said it was really short, this is the content of my dream : I'm in a room; well I guess it would be a room as I am facing a wall. The wall is actually completely covered with eyes. Literally a wall of eyes. Just there, that should be pretty shocking, especially at that age, but this is what happen next.
For some strange reason I was not freaked at all, I took my hand and pushed it in that wall (!!!). It was all gluey and mushshie, just like slime. When I pulled my hand back, I looked at he palm of it and there was an eye, looking at me...alive. This is exactly when I woke up and went in my parents bed, unable to fall back asleep (for a qhile anyway)).
So as a kid, it was quite an experience. Seeing other hands with eyes in it later on tv really got my attention and I guess that it made sure I never forgot that dream.
So there you go, an eye in the palm of my hands, dreamed by a 5 years old 🤪. Here are some of my progress pics

Wow, you were a very brave kid!!
Once in my childhood, we played a game where I was blindfolded in a dark room and had to touch various objects. One of the objects was cold and slippery...and I was told it was an eye! I screamed with fear!
What do you think - your sleep could make a difference, that you overcome difficulties? Thank you for participating in the contest!
Thanks, In my dreams only, in real life I ended up in my parents bed 😅 I do believe that sleep can overcome difficulties, if not yours directly, maybe the one of a former self / dimension... 😁 I'm staying open to possibilities.
