A Very Smart Decision Are Taken By Bangladeshi Government For RMG Sector's Workers.

What is the definition of a smart decision? A Perfect decision in perfect time is called a smart decision. For example, the US Government was unable to take a smart decision for their lockdown and home quarantine. As a result, the number of being affected by COVID-19 people and death is really very shocking. Now the question is there, Is the decision of the Bangladeshi Government is smart? Yes, the decision about the lockdown and home quarantine by Bangladeshi Government is smarter than any other country. They are able to take their decision in a very perfect time when the number of COVID-19 affected people only more than 5.

Being a very populated country there was no alternative option for Bangladeshi Government to take the instant decision for locking down every city. There was no time to make a perfect plan for the lockdown period. So the people of Bangladesh very tense about the situation. They also became very tense about the future, how they will survive in those days. Will our Government will able to support us.

When the number of COVID-19 affected people started to increase very rapidly then we are able to realize that the decision of our Government was very smart. Our Government changed the lockdown period in three steps. First 26th March to 7 April, then 7th April to 14th April, now our lockdown period is 14th April to 2nd May.

After analyzing the overall condition our Government is taking some of the great decisions for supporting this huge population of Bangladesh in this lockdown period. They are distributing rice, wheat, vegetables and some necessary item to the lower earing family. Selling rice, wheat, and vegetable in every city by subsiding. Big investment in the health sector, big investment in the business sector.

The most remarkable and appreciatable decision for the RMG sector is taken By Bangladeshi Government. The Government knows that the RMG sector is the backbone of our economy. If they are unable to support the RMG Sector in this situation the overall economic system of Bangladesh will be destroyed. There has a very positive issue for our RMG sector because the whole is affected by COVID-19, so there has no risk of losing the foreign buyer of Garments.

Now the only challenge is that the Government has to support every the owner of every RMG industry that they can support their workers and employees. The salary of March will provide every management of every RMG industry and the salary of the next three months that means the salary of April, May, and June will provide by our Government. How they will do it, it was a very big budget more than 5 thousand cores, our Government is not going to donate this money, Our Government will provide loan to every owner of RMG industries with a very simple interest based on salary Statement of February and March and they will multiply it with three, for example, if the total salary of an RMG industry is 10 cores our Government-authorized bank Bangladesh Bank will provide more than 30 cores loan to this industries with maintenance and additional cost.

What is the plan for distributing salary among the RMG Sector's workers and employees? As per the announcement of BGMEA and BKMEA, the salary of every worker and employe has to distribute remotely and the solution is that the Basic salary will pay through via mobile banking. The most popular mobile banking system in our country Bkash (Brac Bank), Rocket (Dutch Bangla Bank) ‍and Nogod (Postal and Telecommunication) and Salary will pay via those options.

As per the declaration of BGMEA and BKMEA, every RMG industry started to collect every worker and employe mobile banking account. In case any worker or any employe doesn't have any mobile banking account they are creating their mobile banking account collecting their information. It's really a great idea and a very innovative decision for our Government. I hope we will able to recover our situation and will back to our normal life as soon as possible if our Government with us.

It's a great idea to support millions of workers and employees, it's a step for saving millions of lives.
