Students have a lot of needs to cater for daily and since most of them do not earn much, it is advisable to figure out ways to spend within what they earn. Here are some things students can do to save up some little cash.

1. TYPEWRITE YOUR DOCUMENTS
Almost every student is required to submit a typewritten assignment, term paper or presentation at some point during their stay in the university. This means that there are about 90% chances that they will have to visit computer operators frequently to get this done. However, Android phones with as low as 1-2GB RAM can launch the WPS app which performs the same function as Microsoft Word or Excel on desktops. Students can take advantage of this advanced technology. To maximize time and energy, it is more preferable to write or type directly on the phone. Then print it later to serve the cost.

2. SPEND ON HIGH-QUALITY ITEMS
On the contrary, it is believed that purchasing items with high quality as a student consumes more money but why not think of the long term results? Investing in essentials like quality clothes, mobile devices or gadgets will reduce the chances of spending more money to fix them later. So next time you want to get a book, shoes, accommodation or even food ask yourself, it is worth the money? Not all textbooks are comprehensive. Rather than waste money on them, search for a better alternative instead.

3. VISIT THE LIBRARY MORE FREQUENTLY
A standard library provides a wide range of books to choose from. Before purchasing a book, visit the library or borrow from a friend to determine the quality of the book. If it will be beneficial in future then buy it, if not, exhaust the library and WiFi network fee you were charged while paying your tuition fees.

4. DOWNLOAD PDFs
For students studying English, they will be required to read a lot of novels, critical works and theories. Imagine what will happen if a student keeps photocopying all these. There are so many helpful PDFs on the internet. Students can check out sites that offer free PDFs, this way they can discover the most sort for textbooks.

5. COPY NOTES INSTEAD
Note coping can be tiring but it is worth the stress. Rather than photocopy notes, take out time to take notes during lectures. It costs only a quality notebook and pen.

6. SAVE BY SAVING UP FOR LATER
The Black Friday sales are on and will last till the end of November. This is the best time to purchase your much-desired products especially electronic gadgets. Most marketing outlets like phone dealers, electronic dealers, Jumia are giving out their goods at a given percentage discount. Save up for this time of the year.
