I want to learn a skill. These skills can help me throughout my life. I can say that I have learned some skills or abilities that have turned into hobbies.

Some I failed to learn because I'm not really good at it. But it's all good because we're human, we're not perfect. This is acceptable. We need to move on and learn more skills.

Right now the last skill I'm working on is watercolor painting.

I paint at least twice a week to practice painting. I also watch YouTube videos and tutorials. I always watch Draw with Shiba. It has great tutorial videos.

People are now more into digital things. You can pay your bills, order food and even book a taxi online. It's the next generation. Technology is a great help in humanity.

I want to learn this skill because I have a dream app. I want that game where people can earn crypto currency. I want the theme to be a farm like Stardew Valley. I get inspired by it. I want to be like Concerned Ape, a game developer, but with a built-in cryptocurrency earning feature.

I currently have no knowledge of coding, but I hope to learn this skill one day.

Volleyball

This is a sport I like to learn. I am inspired by the anime series Haikyu! I want to be Shoyo Hinata one day haha! Why not, right? There's nothing wrong with dreaming about it. I'm already on season 2 episode 11. Please don't spoil me hahaha!

I also like the sport because it's not as physical as bumping into each other unless it's intentional. It's also a team effort. By playing this sport I can build friendships and communication skills.

Management

Back in 2017, I signed up for a driving school. The advantage is that there is a professional person to teach you the basics, which I think is very important. I learned to read signs, colors etc. It also saw me through my driving test. My experience is fine. The driving instructor really guided me and doesn't watch for me to crash haha!

I was on hiatus until today. I was so busy that I forgot to learn and practice driving again. I still have the knowledge but I have yet to master the actual driving. I like to drive because I don't want to be accompanied all the time. I can also be a helping hand to the family.

This skill is what I really want to learn. I was nervous when I'm up on stage with many people watching me. My grandma (who is now in heaven, I miss you lolo) used to say you imagine people's heads are cabbages. I did the trick, but my brain keeps reminding me that I'm being watched.

When I was in elementary school, I was assigned to do a prayer or Lupang Hinirang, our national song. I forgot this point which is which. I am late on purpose because I don't want to recite in front of many people.

I've been nervous up until now, but sometimes I have no choice but to do it. Step by step I can overcome my fear and learn this skill.

Sewing

I'm always on RuPaul's Drag Race on Netflix. I am inspired by how some candidates can make beautiful costumes. Some of them learned this skill by just watching their mom make their costumes when they have a show.

My sister once had a $15 portable sewing machine from Shopee. It is a good investment for people who want to start sewing. She made Pokemon themed hats and caps. She got busy with her studies, so she stopped.

I want to learn this skill because I want to make my own clothes because sometimes when I buy clothes I have to modify them. I'm going to a clothing store to get a makeover and I have to pay. I'm kind of stingy and don't like to pay haha! By learning this skill I can save money and I can also sew my own design.

These are some of the skills I want to learn right now. I still have a lot to learn, but I have to take it one step at a time. When I learn these skills, I can also teach anyone how to master these skills.
