PLOT
It starts off with sailors casting their ropes and they are ready to go, lily from behind comes towards Ambrose and ask why they are going to Egypt he ignores her focusing his cold face towards the worker, she pressures him the more then he explains that building a canal wasn’t his only plan he had already created a caravan from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean.

Lily decides to ask why would he need a canal and he replied with the name of his arch enemy lord dalgeish. That he brings in the same goods as he but his ways are efficient and fast in than Mr Ambrose’s.

Mr Ambrose pulls out an envelope, he explains that the letter came in during their last travel to lords dalegliesh quarter, a letter came in from one of his agents in Alexandria telling him the car and are under raid and not just a normal raid, these where planned attacks they attacked all the caravan and camel because they are expensive. Now lily was beginning to see it and she guess that is his greatest competitor lord dalegliesh now he explains how he transfer goods in similar fashion am simpler process, lengthier and more expensive. Lily made a guess that dalegliesh was just lucky the bandits didn’t attack his goods but Mr Ambrose don’t In luck ,lily then asked we are going over there to let the authorities look into the matter then a straight reply came to her face: I am the authority and am going to handle it myself so apparently he doesn’t let anyone do his dirty work for him. Lily asked so we are gonna fight some bandit and she asked their number 20 to 30 men answered. Mr Ambrose made it clear they are gonna capture the bandit and some trained troops will join up with them. Mr Ambrose now tells the captain to take the ship of habour is time to set sail and lily leaves in well wat I will call anxiety.

The constant stumping of smoke from the ship distracted lily from something she didn’t want to think about and it actually was and wasn’t working she said to herself that she wouldn’t ask Mr Ambrose unless he told her and that wasn’t how it happened he ended up going to him and was made to ask and he said he wasn’t going to tell her he was going to show her and lily guesses where grenade , guns and money to bribe the raiders but that not what was the case. She was taken into her room by Mr Ambrose and for some reason she loved his body touching her and that’s all what her thoughts said when mr Ambrose opened the bag it wasn’t grenade it wasn’t guns.

Watch out for chapter 12 to know what it is am curious too haven’t read that part.
