IMPORTANCE OF TECHNOLOGY TO STUDENTS by @delightharris

Hello everyone, good evening from Abia State Nigeria. Welcome to my post and in this post I'll talk about the importance of technology in campus. So, pull a cushion, sit back relax, grab a snack and let's go through this together.

Different Authors have diverse ways they defined what technology is. Technology has brought about the betterment of life on earth and it's made work very much easier and faster. However, technology can be defined as the Application of systematic technique, method or approach, materials and ideas in tracing and eradicating a problem.

Technology has helped in the invention of dozens of gadgets and accessories that has helped man with an easier life . Currently man doesn't need physical stamina in other to lift a heavy object but can do it quitely and faster, thanks to technology. Some inventions include:

• COMMUNICATION
  Communication technology is any pieces of technology which is used to communicate different people. Examples of this type of technology includes

TELEVISION
This transmits audio and video signals from a source. These signals can be heard, understood and interpreted

INTERNET
This is the most powerful considered mode of communication, it transmits audio, video, as well as written text.

CELL PHONES
This is a higher grade of a telephone in which students can use to access the internet for research purpose, watch movies to entertain, play games or chat with friends.

• ELECTRICAL
  Most modern technology uses electricity as a way of powering up technology for it to be switched on. Example of these types includes:

COMPUTERS
These are machines tat sends and receives information, it has full access to the internet and can be used for entertainment purpose.

CIRCUITRY
This is a collection of electrical components that performs a given function.

Artificial intelligence(AI)
Artificial intelligence is in a computer and it is programmed to make decisions and perform actions autonomously.

AUDIO AND VISUAL TECHNOLOGY
This consist of microphone, projector or camera that'll help in making works smooth

• ENERGY
  Technology has an aim of helping to generate, store and transmit energy for diverse usage purposes. Examples includes:

SOLAR PANELS
This is used to generate energy from the suns ray.

WIND TURBINES
These use propellers to generate energy from wind.

There are diverse importance of technology to students, and these includes both Blockchain technology and accessories tech. It's been created to make works/research easier and faster. However, some of its importance to students are:-

• Research purpose: With the help of technology, students now don't necessarily need to to go to libraries and start flipping dozens of pages just to make a reach, but the can use their phone and search what they want from the convenient of their houses using Google voice search or siri.

• Online classes: The COVID pandemic made the importance of technology to be widely recognized. Online classes were held for students so as to cover up the curriculum for the semester, and students learned from the comfort of their homes.

• Blockchain: Blockchain and cryptocurrency have made it possible for not only students, but other people to earn money from anywhere they live or work. Now students don't need tl call their parents for monthly allowance but can easily earn money online given that they are good in technical analysis.

• Writing materials: Technology has made it easier for lecturers to lecture in the lecture hall without passing through series of stress. Electronic board have been created and even on phones, note pad with voice input has been installed on the keyboard so that students don't need to pass through the stress of typing.

• Transportation: Technology had played a great role in this aspect. I can't imagine matching on foot for about 6km just to go visit a relative.. lol, my legs will be begging for rest hut technology had made it possible that you can travel to any place of your choice( including space) even while sleeping.

• Food: technology has made cooking very easy and students don't need to start hitting two stones together in other for fire to catch.. a lighter have been invented, and now making fire and cooking have been made easier and faster, thanks to technology.. even in the aspect of food preservation, it's played a great role.
