Week 23 - My Dream Job After Graduation// by @benson6

It is a new week and you know what that means when @campusconnectng is involved. Last week was an acknowledgment and the entries were lovely this week is my dream job after graduation. The last 2 years were not funny at all with the Covid19 pandemic, there were a lot of misplaced jobs everywhere I was part of the party.

My dream job after graduation was what I had then but today is a different ball game. Some are programmed to be in school for 3-5 years depending on the course you are reading but due to unseen circumstances, 3-5 years become 3-7 years if time is not taken and this is not new in Nigeria.

When I rounded up with my NCE back then in 2017, I was hoping to be a certified teacher, and the abilities I possess but it never came passed. March 29th, 2020, all schools were ordered by the federal government to close down, and being a private teacher, I had to sit back at home for 5 months hoping things fall into place but every day it became more difficult and the opportunity came for me to take another job, I didn't hesitate though it was way below my standard but I had no choice because nobody was feeding me and paying my bills apart from me.

I served as security personnel for almost a year before I dismiss last year June. Today I came to realize that there is nothing as sweet as working for yourself. Steemit has helped me materialize this. I want to run my own business, from there, create job opportunities for others. The second is hard, next year is an election and the government will be swapped but the most thing here is to survive.

I will like to run my own business this year. Though I hope to food restaurant where people will come and place their order and they will be served hot. Just want to be an entrepreneur and sort things for myself and my family at large.

Remember to avoid see finish, you need to make more money because money is too sweet .
