SEC - S15W4 : I LOVE LOCAL PRODUCTS.
I am from Nigeria and I am going to be taking part in the in the SEC15 WEEK 4 contest: https://steemit.com/hive-120861/@steempreneurship/sec-s15w4-we-love-local-products, Nigeria is hardly produce anything because it imports a lot of things but it still has some products that is being produced locally and that is what i am going to be writing about.
Share your personal experience in loving local products. What fascinates you and connects you to local products?
In the rural part of Nigeria is where all the majority of local products are produced are this products are fruits like oranges, African star apples

I love this local products they are rich in vitamins and are cheape, they can also be used to cook and make delicious foods, not only foods but soaps too like the African black soap which is made locally in Nigeria with plants and dried peels, I have used the soap before and it is good for the skin and it smells nice, Nigeria also produces grains like rice and maize 🌽, Nigeria also produces beans so it produces a lot of agricultural products in the rural part of the country
Explain the benefits and positive impacts of supporting local products. How can your contribution help the growth of the local economy and surrounding community?
Using locally made products obviously helps the economy because it creates jobs which is good for the economy, it also helps the currency of the country because production and export of this locally made item really appreciates the local currency and also grows the economy and a good economy leads to more infrastructure like hospitals, schools and so on, the reason why Africa as a continent is not developed is because many Africans prefer imported products.
Name one or two popular local products in your area. Tell us why tourists often look for it. No need to be too detailed, focus on the attractiveness of the product.
I live in an urban area and nothing is being produced here but Nigeria produces Petrol from crude oil and other petroleum items, Car is also produced in the south eastern part of the country by a private company known as IVM
IVM(innoson vehicles)
IVM exports vehicles all over Africa and my to the world in the future, it is preferred for africa because it is made for african roads and that is why africans want the car, IVM makes all kind of vehicles like bus, ambulance, G wagon, Jeeps, military vehicles.

I like Glo not just because it is a good network but it was produced in Nigeria, the reasons I love Glo is because of the Data that it offers compared to other networks that I have used like MTN or Airtel, as someone who likes to browse the internet using GLO has provided me with a lot of data to spend more time on the internet, it is fast and doesn't freeze with data bonuses for me to use, when download a movie or a large file it reaches up to
4mbs speed depending on the website.
