SEC - S15W5 : WHICH ONE IS BETTER?

Freewill is one gift God has bestowed upon us so we can make choices and bear what ever the outcome is. Though our choices or preference can be motivated by many factors such as pear pressure, educational outcomes, financial & social status, circumstances surrounding us at the moment and many more. but our choice depends on where our priority lies.
Today I will join the contest and share with you guys my preferences on the topic "Which One Is Better"
(a)Employee or entrepreneur
(b) Savings or investment and
(c)Steemit or haive.

Employee refers to a person who is gainfully employed and is being paid wages or salary either daily/monthly to work in someone else's company. whilst entrepreneur in the other hand is someone who established and run their own business/service and take on the financial responsibility.

As an employee, it easy to maintain a stable income and benefits because he/she is sure of receiving its salary at the end of the agreed time. They also experience less financial risk unlike entrepreneur, the chances of losses is reduced. Employee also have the opportunity to improve their skills, build new experience and establish good connection with new people. As it is in life, every advantage also have disadvantage, so the disadvantage of employee is that they are less flexible in their work or career. This is because their every decision is being controlled by their boss and they can be sack at anytime.

Whereas, as entrepreneur, though it may seem difficult at the start of the business because of slow-in cash flow. The business may take a longer time to generate consistent revenue streams. Infact, starting a new business is always very stressful, full of financial risk and requires longer hours to run. But the good part is, when the business is well established, it becomes very satisfactory in the sense that you make more profits return compared to what you invested. You are 100% the boss of your own company, you are the manager of your resources/time (you work on your own terms), meaning there is freedom and flexibility. Entrepreneur often bring new ideas, products/services to the market and create jobs opportunities for others thereby alleviating poverty.

So having considered the advantages/disadvantages of employee and entrepreneur, I will definitely choose entrepreneur again. Infact I am already an entrepreneur as stated in my introduction post "Kempire Beauty Salon" and I must say, am really enjoying the benefits of being entrepreneur as discussed in the above paragraphs. Because am the manager of my time, I am able to venture into other activities like writing and posting on steemit. If I was working for someone, what time will I have to be writing this kind of lengthy post? Indeed, the advantages of being entrepreneur can not be overly over emphasized.

First of all, savings means putting money "not intended for use" in a save/secure place for future purpose. Whilst investment simply means buying or acquiring asset, items or goods with the goal of generating more profits in return. In investment, you take the risk of either loss or gain whereas in savings, you are sure of getting whatever you saved. There is no risk of losses in savings. Having established these facts, it can be said that both savings and investments are good, it all depends on your priorities at the moment.

It is good to make savings if there is no emergency funds (money set aside for any unforseen circumstances) or make savings if you will need money very soon in the future. That being said, I chose investment (already investing). I will invest more money into my business because it is yet to grow to the standard I desires and until my desire or objective is actualize, I will continue to invest more money into my business. As stated earlier, investment will generate more money unlike savings that you only get what you put in.

I don't really know haive, infact I am hearing about it for the first today. From what I read, both steemit and haive are Blockchain with diverse activities such as cryptocurrency, blogging, post and many more. They both rewards their users. But the difference is Steemit is centralized (control by a single entity while Haive is decentralized (run by community). So far, I can't really say much about Haive because I don't really know much about it. So therefore, my preference between the two will definitely be Steemit because this is the very first platform I am able to express myself while making money.

In conclusion, at any given time, I will always choose entrepreneur over employee, for now I will choose investment over savings because am already in business and I need my business to grow. And finally, I will prefer Steemit over Haive again and again because of the awareness it created in me and the money it put in my pocket.
