Steem Business - Steemit Engagement Challenge Contest 1 | Business review in my city (Bogotá)

in Steem Entrepreneurs2 years ago

Hello Steem Entrepreneurs community, it is a pleasure for me to share with you my participation in the dynamic Steemit Engagement Challenge, it is my first time in the community, and I am sure it will not be the last.

Let's start with the development of the topic, and this may be of much more interest to coffee lovers. Colombia is the third largest coffee producing country in the world, recognized worldwide as one of the best. It is for this reason that I would like to talk about a business that has internationalized and that speaks of how good the product is. In this case I would like to talk to you about the coffee business Juan Valdez.

This business emerged in December 2002 with a first store that was installed in the El Dorado International Airport in the city of Bogota, which was the beginning of its great success. From that first moment exposed to what is a worldwide clientele, it began its expansion. In only three years it had its first store in the city of Washington, later it expanded to Ecuador, Chile, and other countries.

Not to mention the hundreds of coffee shops that currently exist within Colombian territory. And not only does it focus on coffee as a product to be drunk on the premises, but it also has a packaged presentation that you can take home to continue enjoying its flavor.

The business I will talk about specifically, which was the one I visited, is located inside the shopping center Gran Plaza Bosa, in the locality of Bosa estación, Cl. 65 Sur #51 N° 78 H, Bogotá, Cundinamarca.

The purpose of Juan Valdez as a business is to strengthen the entire distribution chain, allowing both producers and intermediaries to benefit equally. All the elements of the chain are indispensable and indispensable. Colombian coffee through this company is imported to the Asian continent, to Europe, that is to say, it has a practically worldwide presence.

Being sold internationally allows the farmers' work to be more highly valued, because the price for being imported and because what is really offered is a high quality product, turns out to be quite profitable.

The image caption reads:

"Juan Valdez, the coffee of an entire country".
"With your coffee, you decided to support 540,000 coffee growing families".

The attention in the stores is very well cared for, they are generally very kind at the moment of serving you, and you can find a variety of types of coffee of which you would want to drink several, to try them all. In addition to coffee, they also offer national sweets, such as cakes, among many other things to accompany your coffee.

The prices of the products are not high, for example, the coffee I am drinking cost me 6,000 Colombian pesos (approximately 6 dollars, which is equivalent to 12 steem). Cakes, donuts, and other sweets, range in price from 3000 to 6000 Colombian pesos (between 0.8 and 1.6 dollars, or equivalent to 1.6-12 steem).

Packs of coffee, which are half a kilo, cost between 17,000 and 22,000 Colombian pesos (between 4.5 and 5.8 dollars / which is equal to a value of between 8.1 and 10.5 steem ).

I must say that whenever I can I give myself a Juan Valdez coffee, it is part of the details that one can give oneself from time to time. It's a good business, I feel it benefits many people, plus it boosts the good name of coffee, one of Colombia's main products in the world.

Greetings @josevas217, Colombia has been characterized by being one of the first countries to export coffee, it is not called the coffee country for nothing, coffee prices are accessible on Steem.

Thank you for sharing with us this delicious product and the presentation that you have made known.

Thank yo for commenting.
Reaally, is not expensive, but, in comparation with others, it is. But, is quality. And the quality can generally be a bit more expensive.
Have a nice day.
