Steemit Engagement Challenge - S7W6 | My vision and mission to join Steemit

Knowing about Steemit is the best thing that has ever happened to me, because I have never regretted the first day I joined. I knew about Steemit from my teacher, Samuel, and I was really happy and interested the first day he told me about it. It all happened when we were on break in a school, so we went to him so that he could help us solve some math expressions because he was our math teacher in school. He told us that he was busy and that we should wait for a little time, so as good friends we decided to wait by taking a look at what he was doing with his phone, so we discovered that he opened a trade, and so we asked him what the meaning of what he was doing was.

He politely told us that he is a crypto trader who trades OK Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies; we then told him that we would love to join, but he never agreed to teach us at that moment, and his excuse was that we are still students, and cryptocurrency trading comes with high risk, which means that we might lose a lot of money if we are not careful; rather, he told us that there was another platform that we could benefit from with zero risk of loss; we were interested, so he told us that it was a blogging site where we could post quality contents and get rewards in the form of a cryptocurrency called steem.

In all the students that he introduced the platform to, only I came back to ask him how I could start because I had a little android phone that could open all websites. First, he lectured me more about the platform and how it works, and I was really happy and pleased to join. He used his phone to open the account for me because my own was not smart enough to download the keys. After opening the account, he told me to pay him a visit in his house the previous day so that he can guide me on how to write my first post. There are many platforms out there that deal with blogging and sharing memories, but all in all, Steemit comes with lots and lots of advantages over them, and I will list them to you guys.

• Security

I have seen many complaints in such a way that most social media accounts were hacked just like Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, but I have never seen such things here in Steemit. This is to say that Steemit comes with lots of security, which will protect your account from being hacked or terrorized by hackers from any source.

• A good source of income

Steemit is the best platform where you can generate income and also save as much as you can, just like other platforms that never share anything with their users, but rather take from them and will never return anything at last, but here in Steemit both investors and bloggers have the opportunity to gain income to help themselves.

• A place to learn new things

Steemit comes with so many advantages over other platforms; it is only on Steemit that you can learn new things from the people living around the world in such a way that you will get to meet with many people and learn about their way of life, their language, their culture, and also their food.

• A place for all

Because Steemit is a home for both the poor and the rich, in such a way that everyone is treated equally and everyone is given rewards according to their hard work and commitment to work, I can say that Steemit is the best income generator and good means of saving in the whole world, and it comes with zero loss or risk.

In the first place, I was really interested in steemit because my mentor told me that I could not just jump into crypto trading like that, but rather I needed to learn the basics first. Then, he told me that I could equally learn all the things I needed to become a good trader on steemit. He introduced me to the steemit crypto academy, and although I didn't post in the community, I followed all the crypto-related topics in that community, and today I have learned some little method of adding crypto.

Another good reason why I joined Steemit is to earn. After posting our content and wasting much time online, we should look out to earn so that we can use it and take good care of ourselves in any little way we can. And after everything, I just realized that Steemit is not just a place to earn, but also a good alternative to saving up our funds and using them to help. newbies who just came in like us.

Powering down is not a good thing at all, because I have tasted it and seen that there is no gain in it, but at times there are some problems that may befall us, and at the end we will be tempted to power down so as to save ourselves at that very moment. That doesn't mean that we are no longer interested in the platform, rather we are trying to save ourselves from the bad things coming our way, just like the previous year when I lost my father and also my phone at the same time, so I had no other means to take care of myself. Since my mom was busy with the family, I powered down and helped

Now that I am fully back on the platform, I have been powering up all my earnings, and this has made me grow more on the platform. Powering up is really good as it will expose you to grow beyond your limits. I will really say a big thank you to the Steemit platform, because if not for the fact that I have just joined them, I don't know what life could have been. I don't know where I would have gotten money for myself during the hard times my family faced in this life.

I am still wishing them the very best in this life. I will first thank those that got the sense of creating the valuable platform, because I have seen some situations in which it has saved so many lives by the curators giving votes to those who are sick and also to those who are celebrating birthdays. I have a lot of goals to achieve in 2023, and that's why I am really working to see that all my goals do not exceed this year, and then I can look up to the next level of goals.

I wish to achieve my goal of becoming a dolphin and also becoming a moderator in any community that might choose me. I will gladly give my very best to see that everything in that community is really working out well, and I will also give more attention to the growth of newbies on the platform and make sure that everyone is carried along.

On the other side, I am just wishing that in this year, Steemit will grow and become more popular than it is at present. I also wish that the price of Steem will rise and that SBD will be fully back.
