Steemit Engagement Challenge S9W2 - Learn to appreciate a drop of water

Greetings Everyone. I am Asad Fazal from Pakistan. I hope dear members of Steem Entrepreneurs community are doing well and enjoying life by the grace of Allah Almighty. Today I'm here to take part in SEC Season9 Week2 contest. The theme of the contest is "Drop of Water" OR "Importance of Water". As a Muslim, I know real importance of water in life because we Fast for a month in which we are not allowed to drink water and eat anything for 12-16 hours depending on the time zone. So let's discuss it further.

Water is the most important element of our life and without it we can survive no matter where we go in the universe. According to the studies, a person can survive a maximum of 3 days without water. Obviously some people have different body type so it also depends on their use of water and water required by body.

But the reality is without water there is no life no even animals or birds so how can we be? Water is also known as the second name of life because without food, one person can live for a week to maximum a month. The reason is our body will use Glucose that is in body when there is no food and then it will move to alternative food source that is Ketones made from fat inside our body.

So water is more important than food as 60% of our body contains water. We can't imagaine life without water and it is nearly impossible to make that much huge amount of water on earth. The reason is it requires a lot of money and combining hydrogen and oxygen in big amount release a lot of energy and can cause massive explosion.

That is why in our Holy Book Quran-e-Majeed, Allah Almighty has written that he created water, a pen, and his throne first because we knew humans can't make that much water themselves. Water not only is the most important element for humans but it is for animals, birds, plants and every living being. So it's functions are many and we must appreciate every drop of water.

Water is a priceless element, we can't make it in huge amount on earth and our creator Allah Almighty has created it for free. He didn't ask us for any money but created right amount of water for all living beings. No matter how much we are using it, it still available on earth.

It's hard to describe value of drop of water because worth a lot and for Muslims it's value is too much. The reason is we fast a complete month and we know what much important it is. One can test it by eating and drinking at 4AM at night and then wait for 12hours without eating and drinking. When he gets water and food both, he will instantly grab water first because it will make it fresh and his thirst will disappear. That's why we thank Allah Almighty for this precious element.

On earth, we can't make much water but can create few drops of water without damaging ourselves and our environment. The reason is if we combine huge amount of oxygen and hydrogen, it will create massive explosion as it release huge amount of energy. So it is impossible for scientists to create that much amount of water that can cover it's demand.

Currently we are buying 1 liter of water bottle with $1+ in different countries and in Pakistan we get it in $0.4 to $1 per 1.5 liter of water bottle. You can imagine it is just a purified water that is the water already existed on earth and not being created in labs. So just think if we create water ourselves then how much it will worth? It will be more than $100 per 1 liter bottle or maybe much more. So appreciate every single drop of water and use it well.

Let me tell you interesting fact, if we drink 1 liter of water every day, it contains around 3,000 drops of water. If we waste a single drop it costs us $0.00066 and if we waste half liter of water bottle drops, it will cost us $0.9 to $1.1. I am talking about purified water not human made water. So if we save like 30-40 drops of water every day, we can save 10,950 drops yearly that will be more than 3 bottles of water yearly.

My country Pakistan ranks 80 among 122 countries that have good quality water. But the issue is we are facing limitation of using clean water as sources are decreasing every year. In my area, we have not drinkable water in some house but in some houses have clean water. The reason is groundwater and how much deep it is under each house.

In my house, we get good clean water and I can give 8 score out of 10. But as it is not that much clean, we have installed water filteration system for house that has 5 points to clean the water and we get much better water than normal groundwater.

The house next to ours has unclean water that I can score 4-5 out of 10 and sometimes it has smell. They take water for drinking and using in cooking from our house from filteration system. Many neighbours fill water bottles from our house's water filteration system because of low quality water in my area. We change the filters inside that system each month in summers and after 2-3 months in winter as low consumption of water in winter.

I am really grateful to Allah Almighty that my house deep pump to ground gives clean water that we can drink even if we remove water filteration system but as to keep family safe, my father bought the system and called the company to install it and ask them to clean the filter each other in summer.
