Steemit, the safest haven for learning a digital skill called Content writing and a safest haven for earning money online without getting scammed. 2 years of my life has been on with STEEM and I don't regret a single second from these years to show how important steem is to me. I've actually been waiting for such an opportunity to express my feelings about and gratitude for steemit.

• My phone's screen broke because I wanted taking pictures for Diary Game Entry. Obsession.
• Everyone knows me a someone who captures moments including sand
• I could write a hundred words on a piece of paper without looking at the paper. More like typing
• I can write as much notes as possible. My thumbs are used to it
• Academically, I've learnt how to write term papers in school.
• I became creative lately in photography. All thanks to steemit.

Income and Skills Development

I never thought I would ever see a platform where I could comfortably create contents and get paid for it instead of wasting these contents on Facebook for likes. Who knew there could be such a free platform that offers this opportunity? As a student still under my parents, I came into the online space as of 2020 because I wasn't exposed to phone usage at an early age.

When I started my journey, I did lot of online businesses before settling on steemit. Over my 2½ years on steemit, the benefits has been nothing but great. I learnt how to become financially independent with a positive mindset and ever since I knew steemit, I barely lacked means of surviving in school. That is financially. I even purchased a lot of things to suite my needs from steem money. All I needed to do was to write.

Asides financial benefits, I got to discover a lot of talents through blogging on steemit of which one is

Photography: I wasn't this type of person that take too much pictures but steemit brought me up with that personality. There's nothing I haven't captured in this life. If air was to be a physical thing, I would capture it. Through capturing moments, my phone's screen got broken of which I spent much repairing it. My phone wasn't really giving me the pictures I need so I thought of purchasing a new device, a new steeming tool to Steem. I got a Redmi device on my Second anniversary in steemit

Through the help of the phone, I began appreciating photographing more. People know me for taking pictures especially of myself. It's very rare to see a guy fantasize pictures like me. Steemit helped me discover a raw talent, a talent I can use in capturing moments and this is photographing. These are genres of the kind of moments I capture.

Academically, my mindset have been transformed and I've been able to answer questions in an examination with confidence knowing my cooked content would be noticed and would outshine other writeups. I've also been able to perform well in my academics because of most of the contents read on how to balance school and business.

Community and Social Support

I never knew I would end up an Ambivert as I was more taciturn, reserved and introverted. I barely socialise with people and that has been my nature after a terrible incident happened in school where I was embarrassed for doing good. Henceforth, I was more withdrawn than open. I barely come out of my shell if people don't take me out of it.

STEEM came to my rescue socially. Steemit made me the social person that I am today. I never thought I would be able to meet with people face to face and start a conversation not alone they do so. Through the help of hosting mentorship classes on steemit, I've gotten to create a family, a cycle and cliques I'll forever live to remember. These people has been with me for almost a year or a year or two plus.

They are part of the reasons I am social today. The social media steemit made a social impact on me. I can now hangout with a large number of people, address them in public and do other recognisable things. It has never occurred to me I'll be this popular or well-known do to speak. When I was an introvert, people barely cough when they see me but as an Ambivert and socially inclined person now, I'm viewed as important to a certain degree.

I can now many friends openly compared to years back. So steemit has changed my life academically, physically and socially asides the financial benefits involved. There are a million and one thing to do but something may catch up with you someday and change your life. I never knew it could be something I dread doing, writing contents but here I am, even writing projects and book reviews. All thanks to the knowledge steem provides.

I've also met some people on this platform that acts like brothers and parents to me. Their meaningful comments, support and we'll created contents teaches me a lot about their personality. This social life is well built because of steemit. I can wait for steemit to bring up a chat feature.

My experiences of how steem has been a catalyst in my life is shown in various aspects. One of such is my being a student in school that's financially independent.

When I had a cellphone, I tried doing all sort of online things that would produce money the way others were doing. It even got to a point I started doing Ponzi schemes. Although I lost and gain from these opportunities, I didn't get the financial balance I was looking for and I was so much uncertain of a lot .After being scammed 20k from online business, my mindset changed. I never wanted anything to do with online business of any sort no matter the level of preaching.

It was then my sister introduced me to digital skills. I was skeptical about it at first not until she changed my mindset and made it positive that money can be made in any digital skill and that it lasts a lifetime. It was this period steemit was introduced to me. Since I had no passion for writing and thought it would be scam and a total waste of time, I joined but didn't do anything. I then remembered what my sister told me about digital skills. I asked myself; can I give this a try? Could this be the answer to my prayers?

I then joined and became active. From my level of experience, I've seen firsthand how God uses something we may consider as less valuable to bless us. Where would I be right now without steemit I do ask myself? God knows how best to answer one's prayers and this steemit is just like using one stone to kill 2 birds.
