Introduction to Steemit Engagement Challenge
Welcome to this post with due respect to all pf you and greetings to all of you. Here comes another week of Steemit Engagement Challenge S4-W3. Today is the 1st day of this week and the article which I am going to write about is My daily Transportation and the Community is Steem Entrepreneurs. Here I will explain about different aspects of the transportation cost, and the pollution that is taking place due to these transport and in the last there is an important improvement that will be helpful in future towards reducing of pollution is electric vehicles. So let's start....
Daily Transportation Expenses of using Rikshaw and Motorbike(Daily, Weekly and Monthly)

From the last few months the everything in Pakistan is overpriced. This fluctuation is taking place due to increase in the price of the dollar. Our export is totally dependent upon the price of dollar. When the dollar price increase there is an increase in the price of fuel, cars and transport cost. And if I compare the transportation cost of today from 3 month ago then these cost are almost double. In Pakistan people used transport ranging from public to private. Some people used both kind of transport,

So we can say that the ratio is mixed when it comes to using the transport weather it is public and private. I am a student and live almost 10 Kilometers away from my university. So I mostly used public transport and whenever public transport is not available I also have my own motorbike which I used as private transport. When it comes to transport cost of my way to university it also increase very rapidly in few months. I will share the cost of both public and private transport with all of you.

My Motorbike
When it comes to Public transport I mostly used rikshaw as a public transport to reach the university. The transport cost is given as

  • When I came to university I pay Rs 80 rupess in my local currency which is equal to 1.6 steem. And the same when Ibwent back to the home. So total cost is 160 rupess in local currency and which is equal to 3.2 steem per day.
  • I go to university five days in a week and 22 days in the month so according to that the rent is given below.
Public transportCost in pkrCost in steem
Rikshaw160 per day3.2 steem
Rikshaw800 per week14.8 steem
Rikshaw3200 per month59.2 steem

When it comes to private transport I mostly used the motor bike to go to university. The transport cost , fuel cost and its service cost is given as below.

MotorbikeCost in pkrCost in steem
Daily cost120 rupess2.35 steem
Weekly cost600 rupe11.75 steem
Monthly cost240047 steem
Fuel cost 0.5 litre per day1202.35 steem
Service and maintenance charges400 per week7.4 steem
Level of Air Pollution in Lahore, How Government is handling this issue and What's are our Suggestions

Now a days air pollution keeps on increasing day by and making environment more polluted. According to recent survey the city of lahore of Pakistan in which I live is the second most polluted city in overall world along with the Indian city New Delhi which is at first. So the air pollution is keep on increasing day by day here in Lahore. People in Lahore are suffering from respiratory disease due to increase in air pollution. The main reason behind this increase is air pollution is due to the industry present in Lahore and the most important is brick klin that increase the level of smog in Lahore.

There are also particulate matter in the air vary in size from 2.5 micrometer to 10 micrometer these are also taking part in increasing the pollution levels in Lahore. If we look at the air quality index of today in Lahore is 158 which unhealthy for the people to live.

If I talk about the measure that government do in oder to overcome this issue of air pollution these air given below.

  • Government stops using the people to use brick klin in those month when the smog is increased
  • Government also mke strict rules for the industry not to flow tbeir smoke in untreated form in the air.
  • Government makes the strategy to ban those vehicle that are producing too much noise and smoke that is polluting the air.
  • Government also give the people awareness about the protective measure that can stop air pollution.
  • Government also advise people to wear mask when there is increase in the air pollution levels so that people with respiratory disease may not be infected more.

How I can overcome the pollution

  • The first and the most measure that I can take is to use the public transport not the private transport.
  • I should not used those vehicle that are causing great loss to environment such as those which produce smoke in large amount.
  • I should not used the plastic bags that are major of source of pollution.
  • There must he less use of Air conditioner because Chlorofluorocarbons gasses are causing huge problems for our environment.
  • I must encourage the people for recycling and reusing of the product so there must be less wastage is produced.

Instrument to measure air pollution and pictures is made with camera
So by following the above mentioned method in which some of them are implemented by the government and some are my suggestions to the government. By following all these guidelines we can Avoid the role of pollution in harming our life.

What is the Future of Electric vehicles and how it is beneficial for the Community

Due to an increase the rate of smoke or dangerous gases that comes from the burning of fossil fuels such as petrol and diesel in vehicle. There is an increase in the temperature and also CO in the air which is causing respiratory problem to the people. So the vehicle that operates on fuel are not environment friendly and these are continuously harming the environment. Nitrogen dioxide is major cause of air pollution and by using fuel vehicle there is almost 35% of the NO2 is released into environment.

So due to these bad effects there must be some alternative to the fuel vehicles and the electric vehicles are the best replacement for the fuel vehicles. In some countries including Pakistan and india almost make their electric vehicles and start doing experiment of the electric vehicles. According to my point of view in future there is great advantage of electric vehicles because these are environment friendly and did not produce any kind of pollution into the environment.

As the experiment done by the people said that these are light weight vehicle and have more acceleration so this would help in future. In fuel vehicles due to poor quality of fuel it may damage the engine and there is more need of its maintenance but in case of electric vehicles there is less need of maintenance. The experiment shown that cost of electric vehicles will be ten times less than electric vehicles so in this way it would be very cheap to use.

If we use solar system to charge the car than this would be more beneficial for us because here we are using renewable energy resources. The problems with fuel vehicles was the emissions of gasses into environment but with using electric vehicles this problem is also solve. Because pour electric vehicles did not produce any kind of Carbon dioxide and you will find clean air to inhale.
I would like to invite @steemdoctor1 @rafk @malikusman1 and @tangwe-rene to take part in the contest.

You're right, there are too many cars on the road, which causes a lot of air pollution. In order to keep our environment clean, it is preferable to use public transportation rather than a private vehicle, however, this is not always possible.

This is such a wonderful entry, especially the part were you added the air quality, I think I will have to borrow that from you as well.. Thank you for the link.

yeah I am a student of Chemistry and environmental chemistry is our core subject and we have to check all these particulate matter, carbon monoxide in the air so that is why this is core part of our study

@alihussain07, The increase in the costs of goods and services due to the increase in the dollar has made it difficult for people to move from one place to another.

You have a great advantage by having your motorcycle since you move more quickly and in a comfortable way.

Friend I thought that the most polluted cities were in China today I learned something new since India and Pakistan are currently the most polluted cities in the world.

I imagine that at some point you have used your masks for protection, it must not be easy to live in a highly polluted city.

Good recommendations the one that does not offer on the measures that we should take to collaborate in the non-pollution of the air.

Without a doubt, electric vehicles would be a good alternative, although as we all know they have a great barrier in front of them, which is the gasoline vehicle industry.

I say goodbye wishing you success in the contest.

Good Morning Brother,

The first and the most measure that I can take is to use public transport, not private transport.

You are right brother If all of us convert our transportation from Private to Public then it will help us to Decrease almost 50% of air pollution and secondly, it will reduce the traffic and save our time and the chances of Accidents will be reduced.

And as you mentioned the price you paid for traveling between Your uni and your home shows that your trip on your private bike is cheap but I will recommend you to use Buses like Speedo and Metro. This will reduce your cost.

Guess what? Pakistan is not the only country who has seen general price increases.
Every week when I go shopping I can see the increase. Fuel is the one where we in South Africa is suffering the most with.
Great post! Good luck for the contest.
