Economic Activity - Diary Game (29-06-2024): Facing High Inflation while Purchasing Soup Ingredients

Welcome back to my economic activities blog for 29th June, 2024. This day was a good day for economic activities; I woke up early as always to my usual morning routine but Saturday’s own was extra because it was weekend where I needed to clean more and put the house in the right shape.
After having breakfast, I sat to write list of soup ingredients to buy from the market and inputted prices as well. I dropped the list and rested for 30 minutes before dressing up for market.

At 12:00pm, I was already out of the house. I got to the market with the mindset of purchasing everything on my list with the prices but surprisingly, there was increase in all the items. This kept me in awe but I had no choice than to buy them.

I carefully selected all the items needed by exploring through the market and also comparing prices of things but it seems that all the sellers are in an association where everyone has to go with same price.

I purchased everything and added extra ( the things I forgot to write down). Here's the list of soup ingredients purchased and their prices both in the local currency (naira) and in steem.

After purchasing, I went back home. I spent total of #200 (0.8 steem) for transportation. I got home safely although I was sad because I spent beyond my budget due to increase in price of food items. I prepared lunch after resting for few minutes, then served.
