Economic Activity - Diary Game (04-09-2024): My Market Experience
I had a great time shopping food ingredients yesterday (4th September, 2024). Sometimes, it is good to explore a different market and compare prices of items. From my experience, there were slight difference between some items and more of fresh food ingredients are sold this market.
The market view
Let's read my economic activities in details and how it was carried out.
My day started well as usual with the normal morning routine. I prepared at 10:00am to go to the market. I visit a maga market where fresh food ingredients are sold. I got to the market and went straight to meat stand, where I purchased 1kg of goat meat.
Fresh goat meat
I noticed #500 (2 steem) difference per kilogram compared to how it is being sold at the small market near my house. I bought 1kg for #5,500 ( 22 steem) while at home, it is #6,000 (24 steem)
While purchasing fresh pepper and onions
After purchasing goat meat, I went inside the market to buy other items. I saw freshly looking snail but the price scares me away. The small size is #5,000 (20 steem while the bigger sizes are sold for #8,000 (32 steem)

Since snails wasn't on my shopping list, I quietly took a picture of it and concentrate on other things.
Fruit stand
After purchasing these items, I left the market. On my way home, I stopped by to buy some nuts ( tiger nut & dates) and fruits ( banana & watermelon).
Tiger nut
All were in small quantity, I bought just four cups of tiger nuts. I got home safely and checked out all the items purchased.

Items purchased
It was indeed a nice market experience yesterday. I purchased things and also felt satisfied not just with the prices but with the quality of these items most especially the goat meat. Thank you for reading my economic activities for 04-09-2024.
Food shopping now is really really expensive now, but there is nothing we will do as we need to eat.
For this reason, we need to use the little we have and spent for a quality food that will make us look healthy and live healthy.
In your post I can see the food you bought the are really nutritious to the body and I believe they right choice of food in the market.
