Nice to read your post, you have explained the topic from many perspectives which makes sense to the readers. You have explained it scientifically and inferences from experience and observation too. I can relate man things especially our inheritance of ENT issues which not only our siblings but our group of cousins have inherited too. When we ask about throat infection and flu the sentence is compulsory "it is our family disease".
Very well said that we adopt man things from our parents as we see them doing it whole their life and as children we look up to our elders. I liked your habit of introspection which you have got from your father. Introspection is very important in life which not only helps us learn from our past but also prepares us for our future.
