This is one of the most common things that many people have been encountering during their journey with their friends, and so many things always prompt to this which will be explained in this article.

But before we continue let's first of all understand what's the meaning of betrayal.

Betrayal

A betrayal can be defined as an action which betrays someone's trust and confidence, meanwhile individual betrayal can also be seen as the process whereby a person betrays and disappoint his or her friend by failing to fulfil a requirement or an agreement 🤝.

Why do friends betray friends

The reason why friends betray their friends are so many and if listed it can take a whole day to finish, some of the reasons why friends betray friends are;

• Greed
• Selfishness
• Impersonal reasons

Greed

---

Because of greediness most people chooses to betray their friends most especially when it involves money, many people will be at their best behaviour on a normal sense but when money gets involved they change and become someone else.

Greediness is capable of turning a brother against brother and even putting an end to a long term relationship.

Selfishness

Now selfishness comes alongside with greediness because once a person stops thinking about the people around them and start thinking of himself alone and it gets worse when money is involved in the process it leads to betrayal.

Impersonal reasons

Now this takes place when a persons behaviour comes as a result of pressure or threat, when a person betrays a friend as a result of pressure this is termed or falls under impersonal reasons because it isn't his or her intention to do so.

But my advice in response to this is that we should always try our best not to betray our friends or brothers because it is always very heart breaking to see a person so close to you turn you down through betrayal.
