It's been a long time since I wrote in this community. Hopefully, more steemians will exist and join this August contest. This time I'm joining a great contest that carries the theme of Discipline implications!

1. What is the meaning of discipline?

In my opinion, discipline contains elements of personal values ​​in it. Being a person who is given responsibility, of course you have to carry it out with full discipline. This means that something that becomes a rule, whether set personally or by another party, must be obeyed properly.

So that its scope includes a sense of obedience to the rules or norms that apply in the space around us. However, in this context I want to relate discipline to personality. Usually, when we discuss discipline, the central point is the matter of time limits.

I see discipline as a reflection of a successful person. If he is disciplined personally and professionally, of course it will open the way to achieve success in the future.

1. In your opinion, is it important to maintain discipline in both personal and professional life? Why?

From a personal and professional perspective, of course we must uphold discipline. Because, discipline is the path to a better life in the future.

I give an example in family life related to discipline in dividing time. If it is not right and measured in doing it, of course it will have an impact on other sectors. A father who has to work and take care of the household. If he is late in dropping off or picking up his children to school, he will also be late to go to the office.

Especially if it is related to his work as an employee, either private or government. So, discipline will make him on time to drop off his children or go to the office. The work that is his obligation will not be delayed or neglected.

1. How does discipline help us develop? Explain.

One small example of discipline that can help us develop is in terms of work. If we can successfully carry out the tasks given by the workplace, it can be considered an achievement.

Because with achievement there is certainly a reward. The reward can be a salary increase or a promotion. Practically, with conditions like this, it will greatly help someone to continue to develop in the future.

But, imagine if we have no achievements in work. How can we get appreciation from leaders or superiors in the office. Likewise with discipline in sports.

Especially if we are disciplined in training, of course we will get results when participating in tournaments. If we are not disciplined in training, of course it will have bad consequences for ourselves and the team.
