Pokhara - The City Of Lakes (Day 3)

Today will be sharing about Day 3.

I woke up around 7’o clock and went on a walk to see some squirrels, as I heard that many squirrels are seen in the morning outside the room or near the trees, sadly I couldn’t see any squirrels. But, I loved the morning freshness, the chirping sound of the birds, and the view of the people boating in the Phewa Lake. I tried to capture that view, felt so peaceful watching the man boating alone in the entire lake.

Then, we all got dressed up, had our breakfast, and went for boating. We booked a pedal boat, which we had to ride like a bicycle by two people. We booked a pedal boat instead of a rowboat because we had an infant with us. Sharing some photos of the view while enjoying the boating.

After a relaxing boating experience, we went to Pumdikot Shiva Statue, which is around 13 km from the lakeside in Pokhara. It took us around one hour due to heavy rainfall. Just after reaching the top, the rainfall stopped for about 5 minutes. Then, there was heavy rainfall with a powerful storm. Everyone started running and screaming in search of a settler. I didn’t want to go without worshipping. So, I decided to go upstairs and worship the lord Shiva and the status view during the rain was something different that can’t be explained in words.

Then, we went for lunch in Rosemary Kitchen Pokhara and quickly had our lunch because we had a flight to Kathmandu at 5 PM. We choose to return by flight because of heavy rainfall and high chances of landslides. But, due to heavy rainfall, our flight got delayed by more than 3 hours. Around 9 we landed and reached home by 9:30 PM.
