Pokhara - The City Of Lakes
Recently, I along with my cousins went on a short road trip to Pokhara, Nepal. Pokhara is around 200 km from Kathmandu - the capital city of Nepal. Generally, the drive to Pokhara takes about 6 to 7 hours. But, due to the rainy season, it took us around 10 to 11 hours.
Pokhara is one of the most popular tourist places in Nepal. It is best known for its stunning view of mountains and lakes. Besides the side seeing there are also many adventurous activities to do.
Adventurous Activities:
River Rafting
Bungee Jumping
Paragliding
Ultralight Flight
Zip Flying
Trekking
Skydiving
Kayaking
Boating
Mountain Biking
Atv Ride
I have already done Paragliding, Zip Flying, Short Trekking, and Boating. So, this time we decided to do Atv Ride and Boating for sure, as it is peaceful and relaxing at the same time.
Day 1
It was all about listening to music, gossiping with cousins, eating, and enjoying the view outside. We reached the hotel around 8:30 pm. We stayed at Fish Tail Lodge in Pokhara. This property comes under 1000 places you must visit before you die.
Night View
Day 2
Morning breakfast with the lakeside view was breathtaking.
Atv Ride: One of my best adventures to date. The off-road ride experience was great, and on top of that, it was raining.
After our ride, we went for lunch. The restaurant was named: Krazy Gecko, and the ambience, and view from the restaurant were stunning.
After lunch and a short walk, we went to our hotel and relaxed for a while. Then, we went to the lakeside area as there are many restaurants, bars, and pubs. People who love to dance or enjoy live music will love the lakeside of Pokhara.
Then, we went to “Dunga” restaurant for a while and, after a while, we went to Byanjan restaurant for Indian food. The food out there was delicious. I would love to again visit this place for proper Indian food.
Then, we explored the local market and came back to our hotel. With this, our day came to an end.
To be Continued..
Hey! Thank you ☺️
