We live in a generation where we are determined to achieve a lot of great things in life but are not ready to be dedicated to the things that will make it work we all want our determination to be achieved in a bed of rose.

Do you believe dedication depends on determination?How?

Often times we claim to be determine in making something's happen but are not willing to gives it all our strength and time, dedication and determination are like two side of a coin,if we are determined to achieve something and not ready to be dedicated to it it won't work it like been determined to pass a exam but not willing to sit down, attend lectures and read. There is no determination without dedication it like putting water in a basket and expecting the water to remain in the basket.

How can we increase our dedication to definite determination? Describe.

To increase our dedication in achieving something we have determined in our hearts, we have to be able to come out of our comfort zone, put in all the energy in us be ready to stay focus on that one thing at a time, be ready to ignore some friends and peer pressure advice and mockery for example if am determined to buy a car by the end of this year which is in six months time to show my dedication to this project, i must be willing to save and this saving must be intentional i.e I will cut down all my expenses to the minimum value, no shopping on irrelevant things and even if it is important i must look for a more cheaper means of getting it, I will stop buying cooked food and feed on only home made food to reduce cost, I will reduce the money I spent during hangout with friends and even avoid some if it is possible, I will stop the buying of cloth, jewelry for that period when I put all those things in place it means I am dedicated in buying that car.

You can share your challenging stories( both in your personal and professional life) to justify the term.

I remember during the ebola virus lockdown in Nigeria that was when I was with one of my relatives that is a fashion designer from there I pick interest in sewing and was determined to have my own sewing machine because I didn't spend more than a month with her so when I got home I brought a saving box and start saving from my pocket money after two years I decided to open it, it was around 16000 naira and a butterfly sewing machine goes for 18000 naira at that time.

I returned the money back and lock it so during that period there is the wedding I wanted to attend in the village and a particular cloth was in vouge then I removed 2000 naira from the money and buy that cloth during the wedding someone gave me 1000 naira which i added to the savings and after like two month i was able to raise another 1000 naira which was like September by December I was able to save the 18000 for the sewing machine when i got to where I wanted to buy it from, I was told it has increase to 20000 naira around November. I have to wait till the next year January before I was able to get it because my dad believes then that all that matters was my education and getting a sewing machine might act as distraction what am trying to point out is that assuming I have be intentional in my savings and not remove out of it to get a cloth I will have gotten that machine when it was 18000 and not have waited till the next year to get it.

Do you have any suggestions for newbies who want to be successful on steemit? Please share (if any).

To be successful on steemit you must be dedicated in making the platform grow and you must first put the platform interest into consideration before your own interests for example if you want to write a post, do not plagiarized. It will ruin the platform when you engage in this act, it means you did not put the platform interest into consideration but only your own interests which is bad and can get you from been banned from the platform. To be successful in steemit always check your actions and be sure it is for the benefit of the platform.
