My Favorite Meal... Cachapas.
Uy @steemitblog on this occasion I really made it difficult to choose a favorite dish of food, but you have to respect rules, then as good Guiana, following culinary customs, my region, I stay with the rich CACHAPAS!
Not only in Ciudad Bolivar do you eat cachapas, I would say that in all of Venezuela, but my city is one of the places where you eat the most. It is a tortilla made with tender corn, the process is a bit long but the final product is very tasty.
You can eat it combined with stews: meats, chickens. You can also eat it with pork and fried fish, but the prize is cheese: grated, from the cloth or from the hand, Guatemalan and even just hot.
There are also places where they sell varieties of cachapas, for their filling, because the cachapa for and forever will be made of corn. They sell the dough already ready, just give it its touch of salt, sugar, prepare and ready.
Yes, because preparing the dough also has its secret, everyone prepares it in their own way: salt, sugar, oil, cheese and milk. If the corn is very tender when it is ground, you can use the juice or milk. Leave a paste in the dough.
We are waiting to plant corn on the farm, to make our cachapas and buns.
But it depends on what I earn with this publication I give to my mom to buy dough and eat cachapas at home. Because doing this post until I feel like it and get hungry gave me ha ha. They're all very rich to me.
