"Earth: One Amazing Day" : Diverse Nature on Earth

Nobody knows how to make films about nature the way the BBC does. And Earth: One Amazing Day is perhaps one of the most impressive projects of this TV company.
The documentary Earth: One Amazing Day, as the title suggests, is about the most ordinary day on planet Earth. From sunrise to next sunrise. These are the stories of animals living in different parts of our planet. Funny, sad, dramatic.

Earth: One Amazing Day should be watched on the largest screen available in your city. Unfortunately, the movie is not in IMAX, at least in our country, but just the largest screen will do, better, of course, with a laser projector. Because the picture here is really amazing. Bright, detailed, sparkling with flowers, alive.

Each frame can be taken as wallpaper for your desktop or printed in high resolution and framed on the wall. It's incredible how beautiful our planet is and what amazing creatures inhabit it!

At the beginning of the year, the film was released in a digital version of 4K UHD + Blu-Ray and, perhaps, anyone who is going to buy a TV supporting this format should have this disc in their collection, just to test the screen before or after purchase.

But Earth: One Amazing Day is good not only for the picture. BBC operators have always surprised by their shooting of wildlife from an extremely close distance, but here ... This is already some absolutely fantastic level, it seems that you yourself go hunting with a flexible serval, sneaking among the grass along with a vole mouse or crossing the sea bay with a sloth looking for a girlfriend. Bravo, great, simply unrealistic shooting! It would probably be easier to draw all these animals in 3D than to shoot these frames.

The drama is also good. Some episodes of tension will give odds to most feature films, and they were filmed in completely different genres and manner. Escape of a newborn iguana from snakes easily shuts up any thriller of recent years. The zebras crossing the stormy river is a real drama. The confrontation between two giraffes is pure western. And then there's comedy, horror, adventure, and more. Correct editing and selection of music works wonders.

By the way, about music. The soundtrack for Earth: One Amazing Day is perfect. Each episode has its own melody, stylized for a given cinematic genre. It turned out great and probably listens well without video.

And a few words about the voice acting. The Ukrainian version of the film was voiced by the soloist of the TNMK group Alexander "Fozzi" Sidorenko. He sounded very good, but ... the voice of Robert Redford in the English version of the picture is literally mesmerizing.

If for some reason you could not get to this movie in the cinema, and on the big screen Earth: One Amazing Day looks really breathtaking, then find at least the digital version and look at the largest screen available to you. Trust me, it's worth it.
