Am sure everyone is doing very well. I welcome you all to my blog. Its an interesting contest topic and i want to appreciate @bright-obias for hosting this contest. Tell us about your favourite weather. I wont also fail to say thank you to @belenguerra for giving us such platform to express our selves.
My name is @ruthjoe your host! Seat back as i tell you about my favourite weather.
There is no doubt that humans are beings with ability to make choice. Some even say human want can not be satisfied. Today we love this particular thing but when it becomes excess we no longer want that particular thing anymore, we want another. This can also apply to weather condition of our area sometimes. But not withstanding we still prefer what we prefer.
Weather is defined as the present state of the atmosphere in a given period of time.
Weather tells the temperature of a location. You notice when it rains, the environment becomes cold because the temperature falls, while when it is sunny the environment becomes hot because the temperature goes up.
There are different types of weather, we have sunny weather, rainy weather, cloudy etc.
I chose the sunny weather because it holds a lot of importance to me, for instance as you can see from my picture, everyone is busy with their daily activities, the road is clean and no traffic. The sunny weather does not limit any ones activity unlike the rainy weather. The sunny weather radiates a natural energy to me, it helps plants to grow, it is used in our homes after laundry for drying our clothes. The sunny weather even helps complete the water cycle which is of great importance to us on earth.
The weather i dislike is the Rainy weather. I know the rain has its importance to man but when it becomes rainy i dislike it.
As you can see from my two pictures above, it was a rainy weather and everywhere got flooded with water. I dislike a rainy weather because most times it causes the street where i live to become flooded with water, making movements of people restricted. Few weeks ago in lagos state it rained heavily for hours, everyone was indoors, and after the rain we came out of our homes to find out that everywhere got flooded.
Another reason i dislike the rainy weather is because it causes cold. I personally do not like anything that makes me cold. So when it rains, i get cold, with running nose, and some other times fever sets in making me so uncomfortable for days and even weeks.
Third reason why i dislike rainy weather is because it causes traffic jam. Anytime we have a rainy weather, in the city of lagos, you will see cars lined up, none is moving. And this delays the movement of people. The other day, it rained so heavily and a friend of mine came home by 12am why? There was traffic. She said she had to walk for a very long time out of the traffic before she got a bike man who agreed to pick her.
So these are my reasons why i dislike a rainy weather.
The sunny weather which is my favourite weather has alot of value or importance to us here on earth. The source of a sunny weather is the sun, therefore, i will tell us the values of the sun/sunny weather. They includes;
The sun is a vital element present for photosynthesis in plants. Now it means if we dont have a sunny weather some or if not all our plants will die or grow stunted.
The sun is also a vital element for rainfall and cloud formation: This means if there is no sunny weather, the sun wont be able to evaporate the water in our seas, oceans, lakes and rivers, and the water cycle will not be complete. Therefore there wont be rainfall.
When we have a sunny weather, in our homes, the sun's heat is used to dry our clothes after laundry.
From a sunny weather, solar energy is generated, which is used for electricity.
The sun gives light to earth.
One of the sun's waves which is the x-ray is used in the hospital for treatments.
During a sunny weather, the sun radiates energy to the earth which is used by man to keep himself warm.
The sunny weather/sun provides man with an essential vitamins called vitamin D.
These are the summary of importance of the sunny weather to us on earth.

Muy buena tu participación amiga. El clima es impredecible. Lo mejor o ideal seria que hubiese un equilibrio, ni muy soleado ni muy frio. En mi pueblo se manifiesta mucho el clima soleado, sin embargo es terriblemente caliente. Todo en extremo no es bueno. Felicidades por tu exito en el concurso.
