Summer is my favorite season of the year

Summer is my favorite time of the year. Finally, the cold weather ends and the holidays begin. In summer, you can enjoy the sun and warm days, go on long trips and hikes. Nature is especially beautiful in summer - the forest rustles with green leaves, berries ripen, the most amazing flowers bloom.

You can endlessly walk through the flowering meadows and admire the modest white-headed daisies or weave dandelion wreaths. It's nice to go into the dusk of the forest and hide from the heat of the day. And if you look closely, then the reward for the forest walk will be brown strong boletus and proud boletus.

And only in summer do rivers and lakes come to life. The water in them becomes warm and if you sit quietly on the shore, you can watch fearless dragonflies fly over your head, and nimble fry scurry about in the water. It is quiet and calm on the shore of the lake - it is so good to look at the water and admire the sun glare on it. And then, together with friends, swim and dive from the pier for a long time.

Summer is the best time to travel. There are a lot of beautiful places in our country that you really want to see. Mysterious caves, waterfalls, high mountains and passes ... You want to go everywhere. In the summer months, we always go with our family on small trips - out of town.

My favorite activity is hiking in the mountains. In summer they are amazingly beautiful - the forest is rustling at the foot of the mountain, but the higher you go, the stronger the wind becomes and the more beautiful the rocks become. At the top of the mountain there is a view of the surroundings - small rivers and lakes shine below, and the forest looks like a green sea.

And it seems that the berries that grow on the top of the mountain are much tastier than in the country or just in the forest. After the walk, you can make a fire, fry sausages and make tea from forest herbs. I love summer and always look forward to it. After all, it is in the summer that everything around blooms and breathes life.

I like summer very much! At this time of year, everything blooms around, and nature becomes alive again! I like to wake up with the first rooster crow. Watch the sun rise slowly in the sky. I like to bask in its rays. And in the evening, all attention is attracted by a radiant sunset, filling any human heart with an irresistible feeling of happiness.

Every summer, my brother and I leave for the village to visit grandmother for all the holidays. We diligently help her in the household: we take care of vegetables in the garden and water a huge front garden with flowers. In summer, this front garden reminds me of the eighth wonder of the world, because each flower opens its bud, filling the entire area between the house and the fence.

Many times I noticed how passers-by, passing by, could not take their eyes off the colorful plants. Often, my brother and I could spend the whole day in this small garden, watching the flower lazily throw back its petals and insects immediately flock to it.

In winter, spring and autumn, nature does not smell so beautifully. It even seems to me that all the flora and fauna every year is waiting for the summer, when you can finally feel free, shake off the heavy snow and get warm from the winds and frosts.
