A. What types of natural resources do you have around you?

The natural resources that exist around me are petroleum and natural gas. In my country, Indonesia, the company that manages gas and petroleum mining is named Pertamina. One of the Pertamina company branches is not far from where I live, at Lhokseumawe City.

B. What is the work of those resources?

As we know, the benefits of oil and natural gas for life are as fuel. Petroleum and natural gas are also used as heating or cooling, as well as fuel for land, sea and air transportation.

C. How it contribute to your society or country?

The petroleum and natural gas mining sector has contributed a lot to the environment where I live and the country of Indonesia, including:

1. Increase the per capita income of the surrounding community.
2. Improve people's welfare.
3. Advancing the industrial sector.
4. Opening up employment opportunities for local residents.
5. Increase regional and state revenue.
6. Advancing transportation and communication technology.
7. Reducing import costs.

D. Why these resources important for economy of your place, society or country?

It is undeniable that Pertamina's petroleum and natural gas mining companies have contributed to the economy for the central government, regional governments, and the community.

Pertamina company helps increase per capita income, improve community welfare, open jobs for the surrounding community. Pertamina also helps central and local governments to increase budgets and revenues in order to increase the country's wealth.
