Hi friends, how are you all? I hope you are well

✔There is one hero in each movie on the silver screen. Where they are seen as the embodiment of ideal humanity. And many moviegoers often mimic the traits of those heroes on the silver screen, even wanting to capture them in real life and become real life heroes.Although not everyone is successful in this endeavor, some of them have gone through many ups and downs and worked for the welfare of human beings and became known as a hero in real life. The United Nations has declared four such Bangladeshi youths as 'Real Life Heroes' in recognition of their humanitarian work.

✔On the occasion of World Humanitarian Day on 19 August, the United Nations gave special recognition to these four young Bangladeshis to inspire them in their humanitarian work. The United Nations believes that each of them has played an important role in their respective fields of humanitarian work. And these heroes are Rizvi Hasan, an architect working for the private company BRADC, Tanvir Hasan Saikat, a student of Dhaka University, Sifat Noor, a translator and Ankhi.

✔Architect Rizvi Hasan grew up in Dhaka. After studying architecture from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, he started working for BRAC, a private development company. There he was tasked with building a cyclone center for the Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar. That's when he saw various charities trying to provide low-cost housing for Rohingya fleeing violence in Myanmar. There she began building low-cost, safe havens to provide services to women victims of gender-based violence. In these places, women of Rohingya camps are given training to develop various skills including counseling. Through these exceptional installations, BRAC and UNICEF are able to provide safe services and training to many women.

✔Meanwhile, students of Dhaka University stayed on the beach campus while other students of the university were leaving the campus and going home due to the Corona epidemic. The purpose is to stand by the marginalized people and extend a helping hand. From the beginning of April, he carried out relief activities for 116 consecutive days. Then when the Corona outbreak subsided a bit and the floods started in the country, he went to Sunamganj to help the flood affected people. Continues service activities by collecting money from friends and well-wishers.

✔Sifat Noor is another young Bangladeshi who has been recognized by the United Nations as a real life hero by working on translation. The United Nations believes that in any crisis, people need information and communication as much as they need food, water and shelter. All this information and communication has to be in their own language. And then the work of a translator became important. And that is why the reason behind the UN declaring Sifat as a real life hero is that he has translated complex and life-saving information into Bengali. Sifat did the important translation work for an organization called Translator Without Borders. He has also been able to deliver life-saving information to more people by translating words about Kovid-19 on behalf of important organizations like IFRC and UNHCR Bangladesh.

✔Another Bangladeshi girl recognized as a real life hero is Ankhi. At one time, like many other disadvantaged children in the country, Ankhi was also engaged in child labor. He then received training as a tailor with the help of the private development agency World Vision. He was also given a sewing machine and some clothes. From there he started dreaming of building his own garment factory. Meanwhile, when the corona virus started spreading in Bangladesh, there was a mask crisis. That's when he started making masks and also sold these masks cheaply among the local poor people.

✔Expressing his views after receiving such recognition from organizations like the United Nations, Architect Rizvi said, 'I don't think others like me have done such things in the hope of any recognition. However, such recognition by the United Nations will certainly motivate us to do better. The other three young men said almost the same thing. According to them, we each do things out of a sense of responsibility.

The information was collected from the daily Ittefaq.
