What is Food Security?

Having enough affordable and healthy food available when needed is what we call food security in simple terms.

The recent increase in food prices is putting around 1 billion people at risk of hunger. It's becoming more evident that factors such as climate change, excessive commodity trading, and lack of social support are contributing to widespread of food insecurity, leading to hunger, poverty, and even more child labor.
